It’s no doubt been a frustrating week for the singer with some questioning the integrity of her songwriting and recording process behind the scenes at a time when we should also be celebrating her creativity. 

However, the work Beyonce has done to help Black songwriters behind the scenes has been largely brushed under the carpet for more than a decade.

Me neither. At first - to not get my hopes up and also think realistically - I thought act ii will be the visuals and act iii the tour. 

It's interesting to see how Beyoncé is always doing something new - a few months ago i was one of those who'd be happy with just another album and visuals a la ST. Just because to me she doesn't have to prove anything anymore - she is a legend to me already but yes here we are with possible two more albums. This era is gonna be interesting.

The thing is...not having anything to prove but still going the extra mile is very much Beyonce's... "thing".

 

The reason I'm still leaning on act ii and act iii being more music is because "album, visual, tour" has been her established format for the last 10 years+. Outside of clever marketing with the "acts" wording, there would actually be nothing new or particularly fresh about that. 

 

I'll keep pointing to that Variety article that spilled on the direction of the album and producers. They accurately mentioned Dance and Raphael Saadiq. So I'm inclined to believe that they were right about both Country direction and Ryan Tedder (which was in the same article).

All three have been recorded already, per the album booklet. So the 1 thing we know is not one of the 'acts' is the tour.

Same y'all know I been pushing really hard for ACT I and ACT III to not be consecutive albums simply because most artists who attempt this fail as the sister albums are more often than not poor quality but it's starting to look like it will be 2 sister albums and I'll have to accept it

I too am confused about the three acts thing. Which makes it exciting because it only means we haven't figured out Beyoncé vision.

 

-- the 3 acts are not album - visuals - tour. We've been teased more music and "recordings". Plus we didn't get some of the confirmed producers or the country sound. Also much like the name "Renaissance" and dance music, rodeo and country has been teased to us too. Plus all the hints are there from horses to cowboy hats and more (like dolly sample/cover). 

 

-- but also only TWO albums have been teased. All the way from her website B7 and B8 to Renaissance and rodeo. So is it not three acts and just two? 

 

-- will both get films? Will there be three acts? Will they be connected? Two albums and one(?) tour? Idk how to make sense of it.
