Why aren’t those remixes on iTunes?  Everything I usually get excited over, this woman makes into a whole ORDEAL

Seems more and more evident BMS won't make sense by itself and we're either getting a movie or VR experience.

I'm sorry, forget the number of sentences but I actually lost track of how many clauses/parts of a line he incorrectly stated. A 5-year-old can refute this with a blindfold on. "Soft sales"? Being reduced to "warbling 3 note mantras"? "Dream Girls proving she is an extremely talented vocalist and actress"? Ben's got it so paradoxically backwards, that at this point it'd be incorrect to classify him, by definition, as a gaslighting sophist, since those terms would imply flattering cleverness. He's flat out a perfect, level 1 difficulty assignment on how many erroneous statement you can pick out. At least try to make your arguments challenging:

She’s not going to release the video…. It’s pretty clear at this point.  she will be releasing videos for all the songs at once or a film of some sorts.

That shopbeyonce tweet was just Parkwood’s way of commissioning those people to do those remixes. You’ll get it after Honey Dijon finds out she has to do it.

The remixes are on YouTube now. I really like the Terry Hunter mix. It’s basically exactly what I’d want from a remix of a song like BMS. The other three are garbo. 100% greta garbo

Have been watching the various fireworks pop off around the project and honestly think whether negative or positive, it all creates buzz around the album. 

 

The Kelis thing, irritatingly timed as it was, energized (no pun intended) both the stans and the haters. Same with Diane Warren. Same with the ablelist situation (Heated streams went up).

 

All those stories literally were on the news. Especially the Kelis and ablelist ones. 

 

With our girl not yet doing above the board promo (TV commercials, music videos, etc),  the various stories really did ring the bell on a mainstream/non-music lover level that there is a new Beyonce album out. 

 

I like how swift she's being about the tweaks too. She's not sitting in the dirt, she's cleaning it up and being active in mopping up the mess. 

 

The news cycle moves quickly too. So, save for any other people sampled complaining, then the next "narrative" will almost certainly be her chart-success with the album and BMS. She can further control the convo by dropping the longform visual. Though I've given up trying to predict the timing of the latter because I'm still eating humble pie about being "certain" it would drop alongside the album (which, in a way, I'm glad it didn't).

Pahahah, im actually good because I know the visuals have to come before she drops act2 aka the Country/Rock album. Its only a matter of weeks/months. I also think she learned from Black Is King. Yes, shes waiting, but she won't wait too long.

I haven't ranked the tracks yet because every re-listen, my favorite changes. I keep noticing new layers, textures, and appreciate more of her vocal delivery. 

 

It's crazy how it's just just how amazing her ears are, but her vocal precision and VOCAL ACTING are so appropriate to every song. It's pretty obvious how masterful Plastic Off the Sofa is -- but can we appreciate her vocal delivery on tracks like PURE/HONEY when she says in such a guttural tone of her UHs and when she says "It's PURE" with that deep, lower-register crackle? It's so primal and horny. 

 

Or her audacity to start a song with the lyric "Ass gettin' bigger"? I mean, what in the holy hell of physics and biology? It's ridiculous and perfect and I love it. 

 

I kinda skipped out on America Has a Problem on first listen but hell, those harmonies and her flow and the NO!

 

When subsequent re-listens just reinforces the artistic direction and you get to appreciate the musical foundation she's built, I'm looking forward to the rest of what she releases. 

 

What is it with trilogies this year? Xtina released one and Mariah's been talking about a "3 pronger".
