I’m That Girl deserves MUCH more praise dare I say it, it might be my fave opener of hers. It was so unexpected the first time I ever heard it and threw out all expectations I had coming into the album, it felt disjointed and also well meshed together at the same time. And the background vocals are heavenly and that sample is used flawlessly

  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

It's her best opener. Dethroned PYCM.

Then bass in the back sounds like you're being lifted into space.

Are we living in a bubble?!? Because I’m vibing to the album and then I go to the comment sections  on certain apps and the comments are “overrated, trash, retire” :ahh: She’s really pissing people off.

I also think it’s amazing how each fan has their own fave song they gravitate towards to, she literally listened to all her fans and gave a little something for everyone and delivered it phenomenally.

None of those people have listened to the album.

she added new t-shirts and hoodies. Let me log off before i impulse buy the red tshirt

I find Church Girl to be grating and it is the worst song on the album, but I can appreciate it from an artistic standpoint, especially after learning about the background behind the song.

Those are just troll posts I wouldn’t pay any mind to them. The critics and numbers speak for themselves this album is being well received.

i've seen a lot of "I miss 2000s beyonce" and it tells me everything I need to know.

They miss safe, accessible Beyonce that doesn't require much thought or come with any political baggage

The song church girl should have been kept. I just don’t need to hear her singing about a “thoty” at her age and stage in her life. Move should have been kept as well. All in all not her best album but the production is top tier. I just enjoy her singing about more mature concepts at this point.

Not seeing enough America Has A Problem praise :mazen: it’s my favourite Bey song now :deadbanana4:

It’s in my top 5 right now. It’s grown on me considerably :jonnycat:

I can't decide whether to buy the red On Air shirt with her face or the faceless glow in the dark one :jonny:

I respect it all I just think she can do even better. Countdown is obviously lightyears better * just a comparable song in sound

My top 5:

1. Alien Superstar

2. Plastic Off the Sofa

3. Break My Soul

4. Summer Renaissance

5. America Has a Problem

I still can’t decide whether I like All Up in Your Mind or not. On one hand I really love this new experimentation from her and I want to see her dive more into this electronic/pc genre, the raspiness in her vocals is also appealing. Though I feel like the song doesn’t take me to the place I want it to go. A sexy mysterious bop though:gayoncecat1:

Church Girl is a bounce song.  Her Before I Let Go cover  would fit nice with it tempo wise as that’s a bounce song as well especially the beat

The predictable “AS is good but overrated” narrative starting already with some hive members, I see. Some of you just want to be UNIQUE, but you’re nothing like that, you’re nothing of the sort.

AS is pop genius. Pop music doesn’t get any better than that. It is not overrated in the slightest. I’d say the hype it’s getting is richly deserved.

You better clear. It’s one of the best pop songs I’ve ever heard. She will never be able to top the masterpiece that is AS.

Why aren’t those remixes on iTunes? :skull: Everything I usually get excited over, this woman makes into a whole ORDEAL
