I honestly don’t understand the reason for doing that. My first thought was they want people to listen to it on streaming services, but the reason AS is doing so well on streaming is because of those edits, not in spite of them.

I dont agree. More often than not those edits on twitter get 8m and 10m views while thw youtube videos suffer. We have seen it many times tbh
