It’s been a long time since I’ve been this excited for a Nicki song

I’m tired of using my imaginations… she better give us a performance this weekend at the VMAs before dropping the visuals on Sept 4th. I’m going to start boycotting the album after that date if those two things don’t happen.

She’s a model? That’s shocking because the visual wouldn’t have been so bad if she was serving… she seemed so awkward and disconnected in all of the scenes.

I really can’t at her shading Kelis back to back with the CLIQUEbait title (JAY Z’s Nah we ain’t talking Kelis lyric) and the lyrics to he Break My Soul remix. The shady ass la la las. I didn’t realize his deep their need ran, but apparently Kelis hasn’t liked Bey or Jay since Nas and Jay’s beef, even Beyoncé was subtly shading her a few years back when she said “I’m not bossy, I’m the boss.”. it’s also the way she gathered Azealia Banks on Heated… I’ve never seen Beyoncé be this immediately responsive to her haters.

I tacked the Break My Soul Queens Remix at the end of the album after Summer Renaissance and it truly just needs to be an official bonus track at this point. It flows effortlessly after the Donna Summer sample of Summer Renaissance.

This is really going to be her biggest era after the visuals release

If Renaissance gets a remix project Chloe should get on Church Girl and Megan thee Stallion on THIQUE.

This. I almost felt this way about Plastic Off the Sofa before I realized it too was a dance song… a slow dancing song. He entire concept is immaculate and I can’t think of another artist that could get me to dance in so many different ways.

Focus on the fact that GRACE JONES is on the song… ballroom pays respect to the MOTHERS of ballroom. Grace Jones and Beyoncé saying one another’s names was enough for me. It does ring of The Gift, but I don’t think she’s going to abandon that sound, but incorporate it into her work more.

She has flipped and flopped on Bey for years. Her viral dancing video with the machete was to a Beyoncé song from the Gift… then she was dragging Bey claiming she stole Yoruba influence from her as well as her sound.

Move with Grace Jones is the perfect bridge between this new sound and the work she did on the Gift. Hearing she and Grace say one another’s names was a moment for me
