I was so mad at her this era for not releasing the music videos until this morning i must say. I finally saw the reason. I think she heard the noise of people saying she needs visuals and performances to sell her music, without them her music dont hit the same so this time she decided to try something different. Put out all the music first, let people stay with the music for a while and then adds the visuals later on.

No like it's actually so stupid. And what is so (tragically) funny about this situation is that we know Bey most likely came up with the melody herself independent of Milkshake, and only later decided to credit it as an interpolation to hedge against any potential lawsuits but also to do something nice for Pharrell and Kelis. Only for it to end up being spun into stupid mess  Like it is literally not even an interpolation in the way "ooh la la la" was

For sure. Many of these songs call back to one another and Break My Soul has those La la la's in the beginning so she wanted some in the outro of Energy. 

 

I know Kelis is fuming rn that she took it out, too
