this could genuinely become the worst pr disaster for her in over a decade.

 

if the same image had come out of miss eras or miss mayhem you would all immediately side-eye... let's take the stan goggles off for a second and realise this is a really bad look

If this is all just a ploy for a Casino to be built then that is the worst part.

Her husband was wrongly accused for SA, that should have been the worst PR damage to her career and nothing of the sorts happened.

 

Beyonce is teflon and her being placed at a table with baby trump is not doing a single lick to her IMAGE.

It was not a ploy. Its the REFORM ALLIANCE a charity that raises money to address criminal justice system and they raised 20m that night alone.

in this day and age, political climate and after all the unnecessary hate trains ? yeah, 100% lol 

 

or at least make sure nobody takes a picture of her. she's getting painfully sloppy on the PR front these past few years and it's not a good look at all, especially when most of it could've been avoided or at least nipped in the bud if she just made better choices and surrounded herself with competent PR people instead of Yvette's useless old ass 

Seeing her sit with them knowing the power Jay and she have in terms of deciding seating order is NOT a good look at all. Im personally disappointed (tho i know shes a capitalist and probably worries about her coin and her coin only), but whatever. I'll listen to her music anyway, but yeah, not a good look and certainly tells us a bit more about how she feels about certain issues.

Right. At the end of the day, whatever her husband does is not a reflection of her moral compass. I will never throw shade at a woman for what her husband has done behind her back.

 

But when it comes to who BEYONCE chooses to sit and small-talk with at a luxury gala...yeah, I'm judging. 

 

'But the event raised 20mil!' - girl, she's worth over a billion dollars. She could have just venmo'd that charity 50mil in her sleep if she wanted to. This was not a case of 'sit and clench your jaw thru an awkward dinner with the kushners for the greater good' - this was a choice she made to kiki with the trumps.

Her fanbase almost entirely consists of those who this current administration would seek to eradicate or mute.

 

The fact that most of us feel grossed out right now is a rational and logical reaction to have.

She's more the latter if we're being honest. She includes political themes in her work but she rarely speaks on "political issues". Regardless, I don't think sitting at the same table as someone, even if you knew they would be there, is an endorsement of their political views…..

That's why demeaning comments like this are weird to me. If you don't feel weirded out by her right now, you haven't been properly engaging with her art.

When did she strongly oppose the administration? She campaigned for Kamala but that's it. She hasn't made any comments since Trump took office. She's actually never mentioned Trump directly ever.

She is not petty. She can be against something and still be civil. Ya'll should know Bey by now. She is not besties with these people.

in this current climate it would not help to fully alienate half the country since that would inevitably influence her coin somehow and she's deliberately put her money first above all 

 

also the rest of her peers stay mute most of the time so it's just a PR thing
