BMS still doing great, without the video. Amazing. 

She wanted to announce at the summer solstice. Its as simple as that.

 

But at this point she might as well have announced last weekend or this weekend.  There was not 6 weeks of content to keep the momentum up.

I'd be really surprised if BMS doesn't go #1 during album release week. Especially if it's coming with a visual. 2 weeks and 4 days until the album and BMS is stable and in the top 10. Much better than anyone could have asked for. 

 

I'm done wondering about that video. TWO WEEKS til 15 new tracks and who knows what else. I'm excited!!

Lets aim for Top5 first. 

Not to be cynical but I can’t see BMS going #1 maybe top 5. Most likely I think the second single will be the bigger hit.

Yeah, the more time passes, the less concerned I am about the video. We have a cute, stable buzz single and only two weeks left until the full album. I'm so ready to be immersed in this new sound.

 

If this album doesn't come with a visual right away, I'd be disappointed, but it also wouldn't hurt for the visual to come a few weeks later to let the album do its thing before we're all glued to Netflix. 

Beyoncé's visuals often have the power to make a song become even better. I suspect this is why many fans wanted the video to be released already because it would have made the song go no.1 but that's probably exactly why Beyoncé didn't do it. She seems to still not be comfortable being on top of charts and self sabotaging her work but at this point what can we do? What is done is done and we only have to move on. At this point i just want to hear the album.

Don't think a #1 happens for BMS. Maybe for radio if the callouts are good but I feel like one of the tracks will be something the US will like more on impact. 

 The album will come out and people will just decide what song will be worthy of becoming the next hit (s). I admit it will be refreshing to see the work shine on its own and the artist not trying to force anything, it will just happen naturally. I suspect some artists are watching and going to do the same rollout but their record labels wont allow it. Beyoncé can afford it because she is not controlled by anyone at this stage in her career.

I'm sensing this too. I can see the US latching on to one of the more "urban" songs on the album (if there are any). Kinda like what happened with Sorry.

If it does, her team better not waste any time to make it a single in America. It's been proven recently you can have multiple songs smashing at once (see Olivia and Doja).

she’s no stranger to having multiple songs doing well at once she had baby boy and crazy in love irreplaceable and beautiful liar iiwab and single ladies 

 

anyway i don’t care about the charts i want to see the visual for the song. it boosting it on the charts is just a plus for her but i’ve been fantasizing about what the visual is gonna give since it came out

that little queen in that tik tok clocked spilled her tea for the whole era. i screamed when he said beyoncé is known for CULTURAL RESETS. spilled. the font and the curtains the fact it’s called act i. it’s all definitely meant to be a reference to theater and plays and mixed with all the disco/dance/club music references i am so perched for this era like whoa
