Sorry but they got so many incredible opportunities despite bringing zero profit. Any other label would've dropped them years ago. This is for the best, hopefully they don't turn on the queen! I don't trust Halle I just know she's gonna turn around and say something messy.

I honestly think they are full lace wigs. Her hairdresser is obviously the best, and the HQ pictures that we got from the tour could definitely be edited so we don't see the lace.

Her hair is healthy, but to be put under so much stress everyday wouldn't be good. And at least, with a wig, her hairdresser can maintain it while she rests, and then plop it on her head right before the show!

Sorry but it is impossible to edit every photo on the internet. You can 100% see that her leave out are natural for every date. She has to wear half wigs or just wigs with leave out. Either way this is always something that is almost shocking to me. Like how can someones hair be so perfect even if it is mostly wig. I would love to see behind of how they do it

I also don't think they are beefing Parkwood. The clear issue has been with Columbia. 

 

Yes, they've had a lot of opportunities, but (in a testament to Parkwood's slays and Columbia's fails) their celeb profiles are bigger than their musical success.

 

It's crystal clear that Columbia DGAF at all. I think they simply signed them as an extension of their relationship with Bey and were comfortable with them sitting in that lane of being a kind of duo-Solange, quasi-indie, and highly self-sufficient creatively. It's probably way cheaper to operate them that way. 

 

I don't think there was much expectation around their sophomore album and then came the viral buzz of Do It, the tennis court performances, and the solo-ish (which IMO was premature af). 

 

Besides an initial interest in Chloe with Have Mercy, they almost NEVER sent her material to radio or ensured good playlisting with streaming. I clocked her promo campaigns would almost always be "paired" with plugging a movie (meaning it was probably the film studio's budget), and next to no proper investment. There is also the fair aspect of whether the audience is biting or not (which they've generally not). But it's clear the label isn't doing much to try and make that happen either.

 

I'm happy for Chloe and/or Halle to move on to another major. I've lowkey been itching to see how Parkwood operates with a different distribution partner. As everything up to now, far has been Columbia/Parkwood affair. From Bey to CxH to the girls solo. 

 

Time for a change.

Don't waste your time being nervous about ticket sales 😭 it's such a waste of time and energy. Saw so many people hyperfocused on ticket sales during RWT, it's such a waste.
