I'm by no means threatened nor do I forsee it being as culturally resonant as whatever Bey is bringing. I also really like this for Miley. But just the idea that Bey's "peers" (for the lack of better word) are borrowing her baton and running with it...while we sit her visual-less...is a little grating. 

 

There's all this safeguarding, postulating around the eventual visuals drop and, like others have said, from a GP/critics standpoint, it's not as if the collective mass (outside of the Hive) are likely to greet it with the regality that she may be expecting. 

 

It's like the whole tour movie ish. Bey's was objectively better than Taylor's, BTS' etc (because she is unquestionably the better...everything). Yet, it ultimately comes to down to the $$$. Whatever grosses more is "perceived" to be the more impfaactful, resonating, newsworthy.

WOW trilogy act visuals must be coming if the girlies are all releasing theirs! This also will up the negotiations for Bey when/if she decides to sell to a streaming platform or do a theatrical release. Either way, with Ariana and now Miley doing visuals for their respective albums, I think Bey will "revolutionize" this new trend by combining all three albums into on story/visual. I think it'll work out better for her to release AFTER these girls and whatever Lizzo's trying to do with the Rock genre

I agree, the industry talks and knows. NDAs this and that. Its like us gays with drugs. We know its illegal, yet you go into a club and EVERYONE is full of it. Sth must be coming sooner than later 

 

And Miley is a Columbia artist, so theres an extra layer.

Honestly I think she's better off keeping them shelved at this point. It'll probably go down as one of the biggest mysteries in the industry for fans and pop music enthusiasts alike and will be talked about and speculated on for years to come. 

 

If she releases them now (or in 2 years) then what? Nothing she could possibly do will have been worth this kind of wait and the expectations that were cultivated in the meantime. By the time they come out it would've taken longer for them to be released than the goddamn Lord Of The Rings trilogy. Fans will watch and they will move on, the GP won't care for 'visuals' for years old albums and it will all be a very underwhelming release that will fizzle out in a similar fashion to Black Is King.

The visuals are coming, no doubt, I mean she told us that, and it's premature to say that they wont be well received considering we don't even know what she's doing. 

 

Remember, TS Madison who was involved said that "if she's doing what I think she's doing, it's huge".

 

She has also done reshoots.  Why would she reshoot if she decidedly scrapped?
