I haven't chipped in on the VR topic yet but VR is not accessible without a headset (it can be a cheap cardboard one which uses your phone as the display), but you need an external headset

I'm not sure where the VR rumours came from from but it's a non-starter as far as anything useful/successful goes. Maybe it could be a cute little gimmick but not a main draw. I can lowkey see her be cheeky enough to try and sell additional products through a VR headset bundle with the album ($50) but my god that will flop into oblivion unless she's genuinely done something remarkable with it (I doubt she has). I'm putting all the VR talk as false because I can't see any good come from it

they arent rumors.

 

shes working with a bunch of tech companies. there will be a tech feature to this project somehow.

my guess about the tech features are some sort of virtual performance. rosalia performed her entire motomami record in a virtual tiktok concert.

 

i can see beyoncé doing something like that for the album release; or taking it a step further by throwing irl parties that feature virtual appearances or something with her hologram or some kind of projection. ways that she can interact with fans without having to leave her house 

my fear is the technology just isn’t there yet. But if it’s like a film you can watch regularly or in imax for an enhanced experience it’ll be better

I am hoping for a big disco power ballad on the album. Her ‘Mac Arthur Park’, if you will.

I actually like this idea.

I believe the lack of communication is bothering people more than the lack of material.

You know she’s not announcing a single a whole week before release. She’s not Lizzo, she’s not Doja, she’s not Cardi. Give it up.

 

And if the second single is already picked (which I doubt, since they’ll probably go with the best performing song), you are not getting a snippet three weeks before.

Y’all know when this album drops it’s gonna be huge. We will be getting 15 new songs (more than Any of her albums) at once. 

Can we please retire this VR nonsense? It’s not happening during this tragic rollout. If it’s going to happen, it will be for the tour. One of the shows would be recorded in VR and then uploaded for VR users. 
If anything, what all of that means is the album will be available in Dolby and Spatial Audio on Apple Music.

By the way, Taco Bell also tweeted about the album. Does this mean each burrito box will come with a copy of Renaissance? See how we can all jump to conclusions and make up rumors. Brands tweeting about current events for clout is nothing new and not exclusive to Beyoncé.

I will change it with "promo" single. I fear another single will cannibalize BMS now since it wasn't pushed the hardest at the beginning. But still BMS is not enough to launch an album, she's doing a new sound, she needs to convince, to show passion for this new direction. Two songs pushed before the album could help. 

But yes, this would have been ideal had BMS taken off.
