Not necessarily.  Country collab would be Miley and Beyonce on stage together and they'd want that moment.

I thought about it, but Beyoncé has too good of a track record with the Grammys to lose 11 in one night.

 

I'm guessing Country Duo/Group and Americana are her safest bets. Melodic Rap could be a bellwether award.

I think the starpower of Miley and Bey will carry them to country duo, but I think Country Album and Americana are only voted by artists in those category and not the whole Academy so they'll close ranks and shut her out

that's not the case. any voting member of the Recording Academy can vote in up to ten categories in up to three genre fields + the four categories of the General Field.

Ugh I love this performance. Casually walking in halfway through the song in her Dereon jeans and serving vocals for days. She was probably so sick of performing this song at this point.

Same reason Beyonce has never won AOTY and just 1 GF award in 25 years vs Billie's 6 GF wins in 4 years. Give Beyonce airtime somewhere in the show but never in the 3 awards which are always televised.
