I doubt people will spend the same way as they did for Renaissance tour (which came after pent up demand due to covid). And EU, China, Canada, Mexico tariffs might make things quite unpredictable.

Is it me for does Sabrina's album Kinda give country or country adjacent? I was listening it a few times and I was like huh… she may snatch some country votes  call me delusional but I was more optimistic this time around re Beyoncé finally getting AOTY… but now I'm not so sure…

Anything is possible. 

 

Should it occur, it would literally need to be the final nail in her ever playing ball with them again. 

 

I can tell there is definitely a power tussle behind the scenes when it comes to her and the level of involvement she's willing to give the show. Essentially, an "I'll perform if you make it worth my while" (aka give me the award and lemme know beforehand) and likely them not bowing to it on some misplaced notion of prestige. 

 

Much like politics, they play ball in public and rub each others' backs sufficiently/just enough to keep up appearances. Even with the AOTY snubs, she still "benefits" from the rub of the while "most awarded winner".

 

But should they ever do her like they did Jay, I think that would/should officially be a wrap Weeknd/Drake style. Throw up the deuces and call it a day. 

 

It's really not beneficial to them in any way, given how few celebs can compare to the level of star Bey is. But never say never. They have effectively been cutting their nose to spite their face for a long time, so we'll see.
