It definitely does, she is borderline pop/country.  Please, Please, Please is a very obvious ode to Dolly, Slim Pickin's is most definitely country - but many of the songs lean that way

I think the starpower of Miley and Bey will carry them to country duo, but I think Country Album and Americana are only voted by artists in those category and not the whole Academy so they'll close ranks and shut her out

i'm really not a grammy expert but i can see them give her one of the two country noms (album over song) and maybe best country duo and/or best melodic rap
