Even if the 14th announcement was just the tour, we would have been done and dusted with it by now. Instead... here we are in this alternate timeline. So little makes sense.

If the 3 albums are getting their respective 2 year treatments with solo tours and all these gaps. What does it mean for the visuals? Are there any? How long is this meant to go on for? I fear overworking and extending an "era" can hurt. Is she not over the music she recorded 5-6-7 years ago? Isn't she itching to record new stuff and tell new stories?

I am struggling to see what vision she has/had for a TRILOGY

That doesn't mean a Trilogy tour couldn't help Cowboy Carter the same way tho.

I mean that's a lot of effort for simply just "greed" girl. Who would go through 1-2 years of planning dates. Signing contracts. Buying costumes, set designs, travel/airfare. Learning choreo, taking IMMENSE care of their vocal health. Then hiring dancers, a band, staff, and paying for TV advertisement AND social media advertisement. Booking stadiums in every major city, and considering how INSANE the touring market is right now it's not easy at all to do that. Buying/manufacturing merch to sell at every date and then some, just to "earn a quick buck" or cause of "greed"? That's a LOT of effort lmao!!!  Not only that but that's also banking on IF every date sells out too.

Touring is VERY risky and takes a longgg time to plan. I feel just because of "greed", she literally could just sell variants, start a makeup brand, or any other type of "side business" that would require literally a tenth of the labor as a tour would if she really wanted to make a quick buck lol.

I think if she toured for CC, it would literally just be because that's what she wanted to do as originally planned and because she loves to tour lol. Especially for an album that means a lot to her.

To be fair, most of what you listed is not handled directly by beyonce. She has teams of people who handle all of that, the actual heavy lifting of putting most of that together is not done directly by her. And she HAS tried to go the side business route that you mentioned and it kinda fails every time. Unlike others such as rihanna or selena, beyonce's side hustle business ventures don't do massive numbers and don't last too long for whatever reason. Touring is beyonce's biggest money maker. Not saying I agree with the user who said greed, idk, but just giving my two cents on what you said.

I agree, it's a weird rollout. If she wanted to do a trilogy, she should have released an album in the beginning of the year, then tour it in the summer months, take the fall off to relax then release the next album at the beginning of the next year, then tour it in the summers months, repeat this cycle again the following year. If she had done it this way, she would have completed the trilogy and their tours during a full 3 year cycle.

But to be fair, the gp don't really pay attention to the trilogy part of all this, only the stans really do. To most people, they are just beyonce albums. The 3 act thing about them is overlooked by the gp so they don't care about that

It's funny to me that you guys think Beyonce has even finished ACT III let alone has it ready to release when the album and online versions of CC prove she was working on it while the vinyls were being printed

Unfortunately y'all just gone have to wait and enjoy tour season

In Renaissance's booklet, the way she phrased it let you understand that the 3 albums were already finished.

Also, she said and some of her team implied that CC was supposed to be act 1 which means the album was basically finished before Renaissance was released. It's just she just can't let things sit and not. Hanger them. The last minutes' changes can be heard.

RENAISSANCE was also supposed to be the last act so act III is probably already mostly done.

That said, she will tour only for CC and I'm good with it.

Hmmm, I am not sure I agree.

I saw all her concerts' BTS, she's way too involved.

Of course, she's not going to lift her stage herself from one place or the other or call the venues herself but for the rest : she is incredibly involved. And the hardest part is the production, the rehearsals (dancing and singing) etc, that's a lot of work. She tours that much because she also enjoys it.

I'm sure the money she made until now could allow her to just stay at home.

Any album track with over 100m streams has good streams, let's not. For Renaissance that'll mean every track except for All Up in Your Mind this year.

You can compare it to anyone and that affirmation will hold true. Beyoncé has more 100m+ tracks than Rihanna, a complete smash album like SZA's SOS doesn't have every album track crossing 100m, Dua Lipa's last single still hasn't crossed 100m… :michael:

In this wild hand of Texas Hold 'Em, Harris aides thought they had one more ace to play. Beyoncé was in Houston and willing to perform at the rally. "The plan changed like 20 times that day, and they landed on her singing 'Freedom' a cappella before Harris walked on stage," said one person familiar with the back-and-forth between the campaign and Beyoncé's team.

As consolation prizes go, a Beyoncé performance ranked pretty high. She was a bigger star than Rogan — a bona fide global diva — and "Freedom" was the campaign's theme song. But Beyoncé would not give Harris the potential benefits of a Rogan interview: demonstration of her willingness to go outside her comfort zone and connection to a new audience.

Worse for Harris, Beyoncé didn't perform. She would speak. But she would not sing.

I'm beginning to think they use the element of surprise to hide the fact Parkwood are just unprofessional and disorganized

I'm so intrigued about this current chapter of Bey's career.

Total conjecture, but I get the sense this "trilogy" will go down (public-facing) as one of the most iconic/monumental things she has ever done. Ever. There's the concept alone and then there's actual material that validates her genius on a whole other level. Timing-wise (coming in her 40s), It feels crowning of a career that has consistently pushed the envelope from the get-go.

However...

I can't be convinced that the whole thing hasn't had huge elements of "WTF" and been a clusterf*ck of stress for her behind the scenes. To the point of maybe even regret not just doing conventional capsuled era-by-era album campaigns. Between the ever-evolving situation with the visuals (reshoots, streamers not initially jumping), Sphere residency then no residency, now another stadium tour, to the elements that are beyond her control like The-Dream's case, Jay's legal drama, fires, delays, etc. Putting myself in her shoes for a sec, it literally feels...exhausting.

Beyond my own desire for her to move on to Act III, the chaos (a large chunk of which has nothing to with her yet directly affects her) would have me wanting to wrap ish up ASAP. Because the awkward reality here is that she could end up smashing on a hugely successful CC tour and then still have the backdrop in which Act III arrives and potentially even its commercial success decided by factors beyond her. Like, getting tugged at for working with Dream (depending on what happens with his legal situation). This despite the material being recorded years ago. Same with jay. Certain this shakedown attempt will disappear, but if it doesn't, I just hate that the person it ironically has the most commercial implications for is somehow...Bey.

The upside of it all, regardless of where things land holistically, is that Bey's silence and general vagueness will absolutely make the end result of the whole three-project rollout come across to the GP as..."the grand plan all along".

edit : y'all can downvote this all you want lol, one look at this thread and the album's streams and it's obvious y'all don't care about this album as much as you want us to believe you do :)

Aside from the anomaly that is taylor, a fanbase can and will never carry an album commercially.. Even TTPD recurrent streams arent the best compared to her previous albums. So equating the album streams to the fans not liking the album does not make sense. Renny would have performed similarly to CC if it weren't for CUFF it and the tour. Texas is also bigger than every song on Rennie if are keeping it a buck. Speak on beyonce and her "lazyiness" in promoting the album but quality wise, CC is top 3 in her discography.

It boils to one thing: She wants to move according to "her own pace", but the world simply might, or might not move accordingly. Literally serving "play stupid games, win stupid prizes". I feel like realism has left Team Bey a bit tbh
