i must say i'm pretty nervous about the livestream (and having flashbacks to her 25 minute global citizen shenanigans ) cause i've seen a lot of people complaining that netflix's live servers are serving atrl, as in they're ass, and there's a lot of buffering 

Netflix has time to get their sh*t together. They just had a big event they can use as test to make the necessary improvements so I think this should be good

Also, the fact that Ya Ya is pretty much a given on the set list makes me excited! Imagine her going off to it? Now we don't have to! we will be seeing that!

I think all that Been Country thing was leading up to this half time show since it shows on the car, right? She thought she was teasing with that confusing mess

Add to that it means that CC will probably manage to stay inside the Top200 all the way till March, since its gonna have the boost of that special till January and then everything is leading up to the Grammys already.

Imagine YaYa or or Bodyguard us taking off after that performance.

CCs Renaissance is upon us

 

a couple other thoughts :

 

- this has the potential to be one of the most exciting things she's done in like a decade or two  the possibilities for this show are endless 

 

- it feels like a tour announcement is imminent but i don't see her touring CC, at least not CC alone (and don't forget all we've heard was info concerning different vegas residencies, not world tours) and she already teased act III, so an act III related something kinda feels more likely atp

 

- there's no way she's not doing american godquiem since it's used in the trailer 

 

- she's most definitely bringing miley and/or dolly and either shaboozey or the unwashed one 

 

- this might be me being greedy but i can totally see her recycle that rumored live EP with Ren and CC songs and just upload the CC ones after the performance 

 

- as others mentioned i expect a mix of live and pre-recorded footage which is really really exciting (although seeing her perform live in a place that isn't her tour feels like a fever dream after all these years)

 

- i don't see her and netflix doing all this for a quick 12 minute medley, like this feels a lot bigger idk ? 20 minutes (30 if she does a couple classics) should be doable without boring the audience with songs they've never heard in their life 

 

- her actually campaigning for the grammy's is really exciting, i think this ups the chances for a potential performance 

 

- she's obviously teasing the visuals with that damn red car, it's nice to get confirmation that they're still somewhat a thing but the constant teasing is a bit tired… 

 

- AR, Texas, Bodyguard, II Least Wanted are 100% getting performances. I see her bringing out Shaboozey to do that Bar Song instead of doing Spaghetti or SHB, at least the locals would love it. Levi's Jeans is a 50/50. I'd LOVE Riverdance and II Hands II Heaven inclusions but i fear neither's happening 

I just realized.. when titkok was busy hating on her and making up conspiracies, she was probably already planning this huge event. See what happens when you never let bullshit distract you and just focus on your craft and your art.

The way she tricked us into thinking act iii is on the horizon with those Halloween looks and "it's time to sing a new song" only for her to put back on the blonde wig and cowboy hat. 

 

But actually I'm really glad that everything is pointing to act iii NOT coming this year and I think most of us would've preferred that she does more with CC before moving on to act iii anyway. I think the only reason we wanted act iii sooner was because it seemed like she'd given up on CC. But since she's now back on track between the Bodyguard visual and this performance - great!

She's so unpredictable and that is why I love her down. 

 

 

Turning a regular halftime show into a Beyonce level super-bowl production show is sending me. She really just does whatever the hell she wants. 

She could still release act 3 before the tour. If the tour starts in May again then there is loads of time.
