She is 100% announcing the Cowboy Carter tour before ACT III

I feel like she wants this to be huge, so she isn't going to release anything on Netflix before.  It's going to be her big anticipated return to live performances

I'm legit so excited/overwhelmed with the possibilities and eager for Xmas to hurry so we can see what is or isn't happening. 

 

Bey is absolutely in her "work smarter not harder" bag and having this be "the" CC live "thing" makes sense and actually sets the stage for her to hard launch Act III in Q1 and the tour will be her touring all the acts in the summer (hopefully bolstered by the combined visual film).

 

That actually makes more sense than reheating CC for a CC-specific tour and letting her close out this Acts thing sooner rather than later. 

 

Total conjecture but I get the sense CC was never going to be "toured" in the conventional sense. Especially since we know The Sphere residency negotiations were a thing and were set for CC's lifecycle. 

 

This Halftime Show IMO is giving clever marketing and all-at-once is her: delivering on her Netflix deal, doing a CC "something," driving towards her next thing, AND getting paid for it all lol.

All that said, the car in the commercial does say "Been Country" as its licence plate. Driving towards the "Been Country Tour? I guess we'll find out soon.

CC live was supposed to be The Sphere, which is so sad that it didn't end up happening. that's why

there probably is a tour, it's just that it's not CC but act ii+iii together, all all acts all at once

Well something is definitely coming because she isn't doing this without pushing something with it. She is too smart for that.

I think she's gonna create a moment like no other live. Like homecoming basically, cause we all know her live performance game has only leveled up since then. After witnessing The Renaissance World Tour, I can only IMAGINE wtf she's gonna do!

Cus regardless of what is or isn't happening around it (tour, visuals, etc), we can be sure that the performance will be next level. In terms of scale, cinematography etc. It's essentially guaranteed. 

 

With that, I do think that very fact actually makes the likelihood of some aspect being prerecorded much more likely. 

 

Homecoming worked as such because it was her show, her stage, her everything erected at a festival that she was headlining. 

 

Unless the NFL/Netflix have a unique stage in place "for" her, I'm intrigued about how they will deliver something Homecoming in scale. 

 

In one regard, her own 2013 Halftime is a great template of what can be done with lots of moving components. But then 2016 (which I LOVE) felt sparser and bearer in scale. So it really is a coin toss.
