Survivor is Destiny's Child's B'Day, it's more on the poppy side but still marked by RnB flavour, is spontaneous and creative. I like it way more than Destiny Fulfilled for example, that was too "embellished" production-wise, if you know what i mean? I even like the debut better than DF

the way she irreparably botched this trilogy nonsense should be studied 

 

going from what could've been one of the biggest moments in modern pop culture to something so uneventful and boring that not even die hard stans give a **** is lowkey impressive (in an embarrassing way)

In other news: It's wild that since this graphic she has two more LARGE #1 albums, and charted another 40-odd songs on the Hot 100 with another 3 #1s + 6 Top 10s. They counted her out, and here she goes with a whole other career of stats in the 2020s.

And that's incredibly, amazingly generous❗️I had to go back to the album last night, to make I wasn't being too harsh- there's only SIX good songs, one being the outro!
 

When looking to their other three albums, "Survivor", the album, not the massive era, is such a stain on their career. That's not a bad thing, but shows their incredible will to growing, musically, opposed to so many of their peers, then & now, being stagnant.

They updated some of her videos back in 2022, though B'Day videos were ignored. But I give you that, it was rather an upscaling than a complete remaster of all the videos. Everything pre-2010 still looks ugly as hell on a TV.

Its Beyonce we are talking about - shes living for the greasy, vintage feel of the MVs.
