The Gift is an almost perfect album. The only bad song is Scar. And of the 10 Bey songs, the only one that's not impeccable to me is Sprite. The rest is just heavenly  she really served excellence for a disney movie

Probably less than that. I think they formed their official relationship a few years ago and send them exclusives before hand. But with some of the wrong data I doubt Parkwood is involved on a day to day. Granted the way the BEYINCE released happened anything is possible.

Her most boring, and nearly unbearable for many songs, has been "COWBOY CARTER". 
 

The only saving grace for "I Am. . . Sasha Fierce" is the nostalgic moments and the fact that CC is fresh, yet boring. Can't believe we got this album after "RENAISSANCE", because that kind of makes it more of a regular snooze. Unfortunately, there no other time in her career I could see this album standing alone, it was meant to come after "LEMONADE" & "RENAISSANCE" sonically, lyrically, vocally and realistically! It's just a shame that the finish product was the best version to release and is tied down to the trilogy. 

Is CC boring or do we lack patience....

 

because lyrically, vocally, and production wise it's some of her most mature and complex work   Objectively speaking, AR, 16, Daughter, & Yaya are some of the best songs in her career

I would say it is a bold choice to venture into Afrobeats and the culture surrounding it musically, lyrically and visually.

 

I mean she ventures into ball culture with Renaissance but she owns it and makes it sound authentic and 100% hers  something about The Gift just doesnt click the same, it sounds like she's singing someone else songs.
