Chloe needed Parkwood to give her restrictions, not boundless freedom. The constraints Columbia put on Beyoncé made her work 10x harder, gave her discipline, steered her in the right direction. Chloe needed that guidance.

She'll never leave Parkwood because they give her too much freedom that doesn't pay off enough. Same could be said about the freedom Normani has to be dangling an album since Bey gave birth. Though it pays off artistically and somewhat on the charts, these new girls don't have the right ppl behind like Matthew and Columbia to actually develop them and develop actual eras for their albums. Everything is either over sexual, on the basis of being a free woman or pretentiously overstating how deep or thought provoking the music is and it's "Treat Me" or "Fair". . .

If her releasing the trilogy on the 29th means anything and she keeps it up, the next three Fridays are November 29, 2024, August 29, 2025 and May 29, 2026.

I equally want it (just because) and also to get some kind of intel about her timeline for this era.

 

She's "Beyonce", so of course could pull off another "album now, tour summer next year" format. But I really don't see CC holding up "as" long as Rennie unsupported (e.g. sans visuals, performances, a live something). Not because of its quality (it's incredible, but a combo of diminished attention spans the genre, the fact little else beyond Texas has gone viral-viral).

 

So, IMO, if the 29th thing is a thing, November 29th 2024 works, as does August 29 2025 at the latest.

I know this was discussed before but the thing that intrigues me the most is how undercooked the imagery and aesthetics are for this. No booklet + we literally only have the few shots that she did recently for the cover which are against a black background and then the half face ones from the back of the vinyls. 

 

If she had a film done for CC why wasn't it used for the booklet like with Renaissance? 

 

Is it not finshed and it wasn't ready in time for the printing? Does she not want to spoil it and keep it a surprise? It is perhaps scrapped? Who knows. Irritating nonetheless.

We really should've but at least the 2-3 weeks post Ren release felt more exciting than this era tbh. Knowing what to expect now coupled with the fact we didn't even get Ren's crumbs for this era PLUS the botched rollout and physicals make it feel even worse 

 

My guess from the beginning was that the visuals for CC are coming pretty "soon" and that's why she doesn't wanna give too much away in advance. She gave a lot of iconography for Ren bc she knew we wouldn't get anything else for years to come. As you said she probably doesn't wanna spoil it and keep it a surprise.

 

But seeing as we're on week 3 since album release with no trailer, no cliquebait, 0 mention of visuals… i truly don't know anymore 

 

I do (kinda) feel like something's happening "soon", the radio silence feels weirder than Ren's for whatever reason but at the snail pace at which she moves "soon" could be august or september 

Maybe the positive is if she's bring quiet at the moment then it's a sign that it's because she's busy working on something - tour rehearsals? Recording visuals?

I held off for as long as possible, but I'm ready to say it now. Cowboy Carter is her best album.

OT : Beyoncé losing streams on Sunday is weird but understandable. What I hate is that they rarely recover and go back to the before Sunday's level.
