I feel like IASF would be better if the I Am half had better production. It's just so basic and cheap sounding. Like Scared Of Lonely, Smash Into You, Satellites, and Disappear are cute girls that could have been gorgeous. Idk.

Chloe and Halle should have kept releasing music together. If it ain't broken don't fix it.

I fear that they've left it too long that when they do come back as a duo the magic will have gone.

They're also adults now. That teenager/young adult sisterhood magic they used to have is long gone. Especially with all the career choices Chloe has made.

You can't all be "daddy let me suck your c*ck" and then sing like a nun at a convent on your duo's album. Lol.

Chloe and Halle, should have released another album before doing separate projects.

This is one of the reasons I dislike it so much. The production is beyond generic (those cheap 2008 digital drums :mazen:) and even the vocal performance/layering is pretty basic by her standards. You can just hear Matthew and the Sony executives whispering at her ear to dumb everything down for maximum appeal.

Songs like Broken Hearted Girl or Scared of Lonely aren't even bad per say, just MOR. I would love to hear what current Beyoncé would do with them.

My sentiment exactly. She did breathe in new life into a lot of those ballads on the IAWT though. Like this performance alone is just immaculate:

Knowing this exists forces me not to bother with the studio version. Same goes for the rest of the ballads. I just stream the IAWT live album whenever I'm in the mood for IASF and that's that.

Chloe is done and im going to say sth truthfully here: she's been hanging out with the wrong people. She started out as a promising artist, but she completely lost it after going solo. Every moment was worse than the one before, musically she didn't hit, going from cute sister to hoe-hood-bae was way too drastic, especially in contrast with her interviews where shes so demure... like its a lost case. There's no going back again.

And yet she's the one without a baby daddy…

Bey is doing all this and more in one album :rip:

Chloe needed something to do during the time Halle was filming the Little Mermaid live action movie.

Literally THIS. She tried waayyyy too hard to be like certain other RnB girlies when quite frankly she's 10x more talented/musically inclined than most of them. She lessened herself in order to portray an image that's just NOT fitting. I feel even her performance style reallyyy needs to be cleaned up too in terms of choreo. People like to say she gives Beyoncé's energy in her performance style, and as MUCH as I want to agree with that. Beyoncé was soooo much more clean with her choreo and more versatile in terms of music and vocals.

With Chlöe's second album I reallyyy hope she finds her identity and starts making music that's more experimental and more HER. Because let's be honest, that's alwayysss been her. Especially with the music she did with Halle. She's too gifted to lower the quality of her output for such little return in the process. :deadbanana2:

not another random thing that comes out of nowhere with no further explanation :deadbanana2:

Ludmilla is a massive Beyoncé fan and was first known as "Mc Beyoncé" when first started her career. They finally met last December in Brazil.

it's just a cute acknowledgment on Beyoncé's part :celestial2:

She should've put Ludmilla on the Texas remix because Brazil is one of the 2 or 3 big countries that never got on board with the song.

chloe flopping has nothing to do with parkwood....chloe having too much freedom was and is the problem. Parkwood has gotten them into every space possible that other r and b girls are dying to get in. CHLOE just went solo way too early...she needed to do 2 more albums with her sister before splitting. The sex pot thing was so forced and robbed people the wrong way. Parkwood isn't going to dump money into radio for a song with 88k streams...be serious.

Totally random, but Imma need Fantasia on Act III if it indeed is Rock (& Roll).

Besides her voice and performance style being perfect for it, she herself was pushing this idea of Rock Soul a few years ago.

If Tanner could speak her way into Act II, I'd for Fantasia's public declaration of wanting a Bey collab to come true at some point.

I agree!! Imagine them to on a track like YAYA??? Not to mention the live performance!! It would bring the house down!!!

THIS THIS THIS THISSS!!! They literally gave her everyyyy platform and that most artists could only dream of RIGHT after her debut, and it's stilllll not adding up. The acclaim she got when she was with Halle was especially for their performances was unmatched and was stellar. Her getting such a high budget music video right out the d*mn gate for Have Mercy was also something they really did not have to do either. She had the hype right there, and then kept trying to portray an image I feel that was just truly her.

your points are valid but Chlöe's career could have blossomed really well with a quick, easy follow-up single to "Have Mercy" and an EP drop shortly after.

idk if it was her or Parkwood or who, but they dragged their feet to get that album out and pushed the wrong singles along the way (then didn't even put them on the album...)

ideally, this is what they could have done:

"Have Mercy" drops before the VMAs in 2021. it's a hit.

"Surprise drops" in February/March 2022. mashup performance with "Freak Like Me" at BET awards in June 2022.

"Body Do" drops as the third and final pre-release single before the EP/album. perfect for the summer.

EP/album comes out in July 2022, a week or two before RENAISSANCE.

and I think that would have been a successful rollout. instead they followed up with "Treat Me," which was dod, then tried to launch the album with Latto and Chris Brown collabs nobody asked for instead of Halle Bailey and other R&B girls that should have been on there. mess all around.

the EP/album could have been her JAGUAR I moment, but instead it's an unremarkable and forgettable record that no one revisited after one stream.

Chloe problem wasn't her switch to a raunchy image. It was her music lmao. The quality just wasn't right and sounded rushed. Them songs sounded like musical tv show songs if you know what I mean. Chloe and Halle music as a duo was it
