Naw Rih is lowkey another Sza now let's talk about it! Gen Z has moved onto Sza as their main black girl act. Rihanna will make buzz but when that first single sucks they won't be as perched when the album drops. She will get Sza numbers which Beyonce just beat so I'm not worried. this is really messy, ngl. RENAISSANCE was very smooth in comparison (aside from the international shipments and whichever one of y'all got crumbs in ya box)

Rih has never been a big opening girl. She just knows how to make her eras last long with up to 5 radio promoted singles. 
I believe after the underwhelming success of Lift Me Up, she decided to put the brakes on R9. 
But if she comes back and does yearly releases again, she'll be seated in the top3

I don't have an issue with Rihanna at all but I always hated the narrative of Rih being better than Beyonce. It always seemed Anti Black American Woman to me. Rihanna is a pop pop star while Bey is mostly an urban Artist that experiments with sounds. A trendy electric dance pop song that's catchy and appeals to everybody will go number 1. Beyonce and Rihanna both brings different things to the table but I don't like the disrespect for Beyonce who came first and was a lot of these girls idols growing up.

And people don't wanna hear it but light skin privilege is more prevalent with Rihanna. Her very green eyes and accent make her appear "exotic" to the main demographic. Beyoncé is light skinned but they still view her as a black woman. I've noticed this when people try to talk about who's prettier

Most definitely and they always compare Bey to light skin women with colorful eyes. They push the same problematic rhetoric that they are supposedly so against. Our Community needs a lot of healing.

Let's be real when is the last time Bey has had a seamless rollout? Titling it Beyince was weird to begin with and the fact that it was not decided earlier to change it is mind blowing. 

Anyone else think her t shirt merch is consistently bad? They never use a good photo of her. If THIS was on a shirt or poster id buy it. I feel like Bey is missing that classic band/artist T-shirt that people casually wear even if they don't listen to their music. I've seen more Aaliyah shirts in person than Beyoncé ones.
