For some reason they seem to believe the announcement of an era is all that’s needed. I know you are trying to be positive but the minute I saw there was no follow up, I knew it was about to be Renaissance redux.

It did happen! Have seen a few of the trademark black and white guest snaps floating around. 

 

Unlike the Roc Nation Brunch, which seems very deliberately frontwards facing, the Gold Party is presented as hella elite and there generally aren't any pics (not sure phones are even allowed) until they release them. If ever they do.

The girls have dragging anyone who isn't super positive about the era so far despite the nothingness since the Super Bowl ad. 

 

Dragging the folk with very rational concerns about Bey "seemingly" not doing what's needed to position her own product to succeed.

 

There's a chance there's some grand plan (at which point I'll joyfully eat humble pie), but working with the data and actions of now, it definitely is easy to feel a bit blah about everything.

I don’t know about one mill but definitely more 6m plus albums and #1’s and bigger streaming numbers.

Parkwood is fine, the label is even better, it is now very clear that Ms. No is her own self sabotage.

 

The label took THE and did their BEST job with it for two/three weeks, everything we could want:

 

- immediate radio

- playlisting

- visibility in marketing

- Tik Tok sound with videos attached immediately

 

 

On her end...

 

- no social media post

- no music video

- no live performance

- no Apple or Spotify special thing

- NO MENTION OF THE SONG AT ALL < ----------

 

There are things the label cannot do without her input or approval.

 

I’m starting to strongly think that we’re getting some sort of visual for “act ii.” If this was a regular degular release like RENAISSANCE was with no additional visuals around the time of release, we would’ve gotten the album cover/tracklist by now.

It doesn’t make sense for her NOT to release those two things IF something bigger wasn’t coming. I don’t think Camp Bey just plans on randomly releasing the album cover and tracklist at this point (~2 weeks) prior to the “album”(?) release if act ii is just an album.

So, I actually think WE ALL should calm down as it relates to first week figures because I think what will be announced will be BIGGER than just an album cover/tracklist confirming/announcing the project. 
Like that silly little ATBLInsider account said, “you don’t need pre orders if a film is being released hours prior”   …..   which I still don’t believe 100% but do believe it’ll be a big deal come 3.29

In some European countries I think so : Ireland, NL and UK. And that's despite her pretty much being only focused on the US for the last 15 years outside of a tour. The older an act gets, the harder it is in the US but success and age don't strongly correlate here so I don't understand why people like Bey, Janet (worst offender of this) do not prioritize outside the US to stay highly relevant even "old ages" like Tina and Madonna have done.

Hmm I just feel like the approach of having others aka your mom talk more about your business ventures than you (both for THE/Act ii as well as Cecred) is kinda whack. This is not elementary school where u need ur mom talking for you. You want to sell?? Then sell it 

 

Being lowkey is fine and works towards her "luxury" brand, but at one point, you gotta make the people gag and excited for u. And in this day and age, you have to do it rather consistently

the gold party is like this every year. there are no phones or photography inside the party. thats why celebs like it so much.
