Beyoncé just merely OWNING/developing the company has been controversial enough for many people who think people who've worn wigs can't also have healthy hair. The scrutiny that anything Beyoncé-related already gets is enough, I think it's wise to let experts be the "faces" of the brand, especially when your name alone is already going to do a lot for it. When the time comes when she feels it needs significant boost, I'm sure she'll upload that "My Cécred Hair Routine" YouTube all the haters are asking for but until then, the best business choice is to get the brand stable on its own merits and NOT because she's fronting it and pushing it in front of the public.

I do not want a Jolene cover. Mainly because of the lyrics and the fact that I want 16 original songs, but also because I just don’t care for the song. It’s iconic but so boring to me

Why start an era if things aren’t ready. Another era without visuals will crack us all up. 
 

I don’t think this album will have the fan obsession like REN. It will need a bigger push imo. Hope I’m wrong though. 

I’m here for her sampling the song because I love the instrumental but a cover? Those lyrics were…. Choices 

Texas Hold ‘Em is a good song but there are some aspects of it, especially the whistling bits and the “heys” that definitely reminds of the jingles or music made for TV advertisements.

 

 

Superpower is a good song but it was the only song on ST that took me very long to truly appreciate it…..

 

 

Best Thing I Never Had is one of the worst and most generic songs in her discography.

All Up In Your Mind - I hated it at first but I eventually fell in love with it.

 

 

Church Girl - I used to love it upon initial release but it has recently become annoying and grating to me.

 

Last and…. least.

 

I still hate Summer Renaissance - I love the Donna Summer interpolation and reference to one of the greats but the song just doesn’t do it for me

 

She should have done a version of Jolene for Renaissance.
