Yeah fair point. If I think of some other artists to compare Bey to at her current age though and where they were at that time:

• Mariah (2012) - Triumphant era (flopping)
• Whitney (2005) - nothing much happening, career was more or less over by this point
• Janet (2008) - Discipline era (underperforming)

I’m a fan of all of the above artists btw so no shade to any of them, just trying to illustrate how Bey has been able to stay relevant for a longer period.
