Bey doesnt need any type of poor, commercial remixes just for a quick hit grab. The fact that THE is doing all of that SOLO with nothing but Bey, a black woman, with no desparation is so much more worth than a #1 with a cheap remix would achieve.

I agree.

 

I think the way she handled all the remixes in act i were all very organic feeling rather than chart hungry. perhaps the BMS remix was the most chart hungry as it allowed the song to get to #1 but it truly felt more like a gift for fans than any cheap attempt at that kind of success. the vogue breakdown alone was like an epilogue for the album, and the remix's intro was such a pleasing lil clapback... I wouldn't have it any other way.
