This was from November. U2 finish their residency on the first weekend of March and still no other act has been announced. 

Dead & Company have been announced as the next residency last week. May through July.

As for what she came out day 1 saying, this is it, and I quote:

"[Beyoncé] decided to lead without visuals giving fans the opportunity to be limitless in their expansive listening journey. It is a chance again to be listeners and not viewers...the visuals are scheduled for a later date"

 

Now, we could either be mad we still don't have them and sure, it is of course her fault that she didn't release the visuals yet and fans want them, but it's still every fan's individual choice to either allow this bother them to the point of winding themselves in a knot, going in circles complaining about it for 1.5 years straight so much so that they feel the era itself was detrimentally affected by something that was never explicitly put on the schedule yet, or letting that expectation go and enjoy what we have in the moment.

 

I admit she has had communication issues and could have solved a lot with being upfront. But fans read into every little thing and speculate it means something, yet when Beyoncé/her team actually post a meme about being old when the visuals are out, apparently that is NOT a message whatsoever as far as alluding to how long it'll take. When her tour says "a queen moves at her own pace", that is NOT an admission that she knows she's being slow and will release them when she wants. I just find the entire 1.5 years of anger directed at her for this to be quite silly. We were told there were visuals. We still don't have them. Is it that serious?

I duno maybe I just see it differently but to me the wait and the edging of the visuals is funny. To most I acknowledge it is very hard to deal with. I'm just hoping some of you can see the hilarity of it beyond the desire to have them.

Idk who needs to hear this but Beyoncé is NOT touring in anything that is not a stadium and she is NOT touring without a new era/music. Rumors are rumors. Beyoncé is money motivated. What’s in it for her to perform a residency when she just got off tour? Especially in that small ass theater. With what music? This topic is getting stale. We will not see her on stage for at least another year. That should be obvious at this point.

one of the most annoying comebacks is when someone says ____ is a legend and to not speak on them/compare to Beyonce. Even worse when the person is far from a legend and people act like they’re above Beyonce. I saw this the other day reading an old argument about the k*lis sampling drama. “She’s been around since the 90s. She’s a legend”. No baby that’s a one hit wonder it doesn’t matter how many albums she has when no one listened to them.

She could easily secure an upfront payment AND ticket sales for a vegas residency. She also gets stability with her family by being in one space (that's relatively close to her home in LA since it's about an hour flight). I dont see the vegas thing happening next year but I could definitely see her perform at smaller venues, like what Madonna did with madame X

this logic doesn't really add up. U2's first 17 shows there averaged $6.4m per night. it's great for an arena show, but...

 

Beyoncé bagged $26m in two nights in Las Vegas. Sphere is too much effort for diminishing returns. she'd be better off waiting for her next album and going on a stadium tour again.
