One a week? Are we gonna wait three months to watch the complete thing? No thanks. 

I’m all good with Act II coming next year as long as we see her a handful of times this year. A blockbuster feature to hold us over will be great. If we get to Q2/Q3 2025 without music I’ll start to itch.

I don’t know and didn’t follow the entire exchange of that user, I just chimed in because the demo here can never really clock shade between female artists, it’s only when the girls actually start reading and it’s undeniable that people get it. I didn’t know there was talk of Nicki “ending” Bey. 
 

All I know is her reluctance to clear up anything regarding Bey is similar to the way she handled it with Rih back when it was shade thrown between them.

Beyond generally being embarrassing, the Nicki thing is interesting in the context of Bey. 

We of course know Parkwood = Roc Nation and vice versa (same dinner table). So, Nicki going so forcefully against their "own" in Megan makes the battle lines clearer than clear. 

 

Up until now, it's been fairly respectful with Nicki still getting her Ivy Park here and there and shouting out Bey (often after inferences of slight shade) to mutually keep up the kumbaya facade. And in Nicki's case, to get a rub from affiliating with actual music royalty. 

 

I get the sense that The Carters didn't want to totally cut the tie (even with her craziness, husband etc) because of a slight fondness for Nicki, in respect of their previous collabs, and for optics (they play the "culture" game impeccably). 

 

This latest craziness changes that IMO. The Mom line is one hell no and now, after a few light jabs, she  is getting way more brazen with the Roc Nation shade. It's one thing saying `Megan benefits from the "machine", but now she's naming names (like Jay's right hand, Desireé and getting spicy. She's spiraling in such a way that she's willing to cut ties totally on the merit of her behavior. 

 

At this point, there is now no logical reason nor way (even) for The Carters to associate with her in any capacity. It's dunzo. 

 

And TBH, not that I buy any of the conspiracy garbage Nicki is spewing, but if the Roc were indeed to use their "power" press a button to make Nicki's movements difficult, it would arguably be justified as hell.
