I actually meant 2025 but yeah, maybe that's even a bit far away. I don't think an album every three years is bad at this stage of her career especially when she always delivers quality. She's somewhat taken three years between each project with extras such as Everything Is Love and Homecoming being sprinkled in too.

this would’ve been unthinkable when the album came out but tbh it seems absolutely PERFECT now. we’d get content every year and tour years could easily be exchanged for visuals/films/small residencies/intimate concerts/other types of live performances would she not want to tour that specific year

She probably scrapped the visuals and the acts after she popped her knee and is going with the flow. She always has a plan or an idea but it never always goes to plan. 
 

The timelines do seem appropriate for a new era, At best we might get new music at the end of this year. An album in the fall would be ideal but most likely Spring 2025. 

If she does an Act II then hopefully it’s not country music inspired like some Hive have been asking for. Nobody want that wack ass shite

 

I need her to have a song that just dominates New Years…

 

Something feel good like Cuff It/Crazy In Love with a hook like Countdown to bring in the new year. 

3 albums seems ambitious coming from her. Don't get me wrong, I would love 3 albums of new music but she doesn't strike me as someone to release 3 albums worth of material. She is usually quality over quantity but maybe that changed now that she has nothing left to prove.

As if Renaissance didn’t serve quality. She can do both. 

The last thing that should be questioned/concerned about her is the quality of the music. I welcome country, rock, trap, whatever the genre is I know it’s going to be good I want it all.

 

Now… if we want to discuss her career decisions or her cooking… we’ve got all day

I just don't see a world where she walks back the "three act project" thing without ever mentioning it...

 

she could have easily branded the tour as Act II and film as Act III if she was looking for a way out of it.

 

to me, the next few months would be the PERFECT time to launch a new album era. she could drop something the weekend/day of the Grammys honestly to be petty  regardless, I think if she waits too long before serving Act II, it'll be too late and some people won't tune in. she's at a streaming peak right now. the iron might not look hot but it is hot to touch and that's what matters.

Not like I expect her to top the chart, but numbers are low on the BB200. Would be a nice time to release the live album.

 

EDIT: For reference, Homecoming did 38k in two days, and 57k the following week. I still don’t understand how that was considered an underperformance because I don’t expect a new live album to pull those numbers now.

Yes I’m one of the annoying fans that petition for Control’s right to be on that album, I see potential in all her flaws the picture is clear as day etc

 

I was never on board with the 3 acts thing. 

 

If you release them too close to each other then neither gets its proper shine or one completely overshadows the others. And if you release them too far apart that kinda negates the point of a trilogy in the first place.

 

Renaissance came out so long ago for her to put put a subsequent act that by these standards we can 'trilogize' her entire career. The destiny's child trilogy (act i DC, act ii TWOTW, act iii Survivor), The going solo trilogy (DIL, BDay, IASF), the 10s trilogy (4,ST,Lem).
 

I just want her to release those damn music videos/film whatever so we can call it a day and move on and she can come back with a new project in a couple years or whenever she's ready.

Taylor's Folklore, Evermore, and Lover made her a streaming giant, and the longest between two of them was like a year or something

the whole acts concept probably plays into the film 

miss girl is probably crafting up an entire 3 hour movie

And she’s released 4 studio albums, 4 rerecordings and a live album in just 5 years.

That was not a trilogy, Lover was its own separate thing and she did a major switch up for folklore. It and evermore are sister albums yes but isn't evermore her most overlooked record (outside maybe debut)? That's exactly what I'm talking about. 
 

I'm not saying first half of 2024 is too soon or that more frequent releases would be bad, but if she does put out a record this year it wouldn't really play as an act ii to Renaissance. Not any more than IASF is an act ii to BDay at least.

I don't see how. Trilogies in film can be years apart.

 

She'll probably drop Act II this year. I'm thinking the horse is going to be the universal motif that ties the albums together visually. It just won't be a disco ball this time.

The "abundance of music" thing was directly confirmed by Bee herself lmao as she is likely to take a very long hiatus after Act III. 

 

Neither the tour nor the film were branded as the following acts, so expect a new album later this year.

The rumors were always credible, even Honey Dijon admitted that B was educating herself about the roots of Country music during the pandemic. As if that weren't a hint of what is about to come next.
