Her energy is so infectious i loved the video. Those pre order numbers must have been in the gutter for her to sit down and talk to a camera

Are there many celebs who have created a perfume from the ground up in their own company before? I don't really know the mechanics of the industry but it does seem like most partner with existing fragrance brands like Coty, Elizabeth Arden, LVMH, etc.

 

It would stand to reason that the margin of her profits will be huge considering there is no deal made with anyone else and it's been created within Parkwood itself.

The video is cute and finally a good business strategy from Parkwood.

 

Just infuriating that they will bend the knee for a perfume but be stubborn and crickets on her music.

Beyoncé does not give a single **** and actually wants less promo. She is committed to this "music speak for itself" crap. She needs to go back to her roots.

that's what's funny about complaining about her doing more promo for this than the album. she quite literally skipped any mention of the perfume whatsoever. she gave us a tidbit about the packaging design, and proved it can spray at least five times in a row.

 

imo as far as actual usable information and excitmement generated:

ALBUM COVER DROP + Explanatory paragraph > Unboxing video with no scent details of a bottle we already saw in 360-degrees yesterday.

Let me read the past couple pages to see if there were meltdowns over her vlog style promo. I stopped everything to watch. She’d be a great beauty YouTuber when she quits her job for real.
