I think the main problem is that she decided to focus on being a gay icon and *****, which is something that needs to happen organically otherwise it backfires pretty quick. She was never a cunty gay icon, her success came because of generic pop songs that had massive appeal especially with boring soccer moms. Her brand was 'Roar'.
