The film will be a Holiday staple! Everyone will be home for the Holiday’s and see the film as a family! I just love it!

I was trying to align it to Before I Let Go, a song that is not hugely popular but by no means obscure to the demographic that it's made for. But ya I'd take cuntier too... but I mean, she could always make this cuntier by adding in a verse or whatnot and switching up the production.

The problem with You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real) is that it is THE queer disco staple, and Beyoncé doing a cover of it could bury the original. That would be the opposite of what she’s trying to do with the era.

I think Eras/Rena being released close to each other is gonna generate a bit of buzz for both just like the whole Barbenheimer thing. Film media is gonna write pieces comparing both, and they’ll probably praise both for the content and for the event being an achievement. Conversation around it is free promo, people will want to have an opinion about it.

I wonder what the album will do while the movie is in theaters

I see that too, very much so, but again was trying to align it Before I Let You Go, where Frankie Beverly was thankful for her covering his song. And since Sylvester co-wrote the song, the estate would still be getting profits from her re-upping it, and likely giving it more attention than it's had for decades.

I see your point in that Before I Let Go isn't the only cookout staple whereas You Make Me Feel (Might Real) is a bit more culturally singularness.

Again, I was only trying to make a direct comparison to this and Homecoming, given the trailer's similarities. It'd be nice to have any new bonus song, including one that is just using a good sample or whatever.

Anything over $20 is a hard pill to swallow for the GP especially when the kids/senior prices are the same as adults. It will turn away those folks and maximize on the mentally ill (us). If they lower the price over time, I think it won’t be as frontloaded considering the non stans aren’t in a rush to be the first to see the movie. She has a lot of aunties over 40 that will want to see it. 
 

Anyway that movie forum is predicting a big opening going by the presales. The capitalist won I fear.
