also did not expect to cry to Church Girl of all songs, but idk something about it really spoke to me! the idea of casting off shame to embrace personal liberation just finally clicked beyond it being a fun song

 

the longass mute sent me into orbit tho - you could tell it caught everyone off guard and that’s why things devolved into foolishness. she was a mess for saying we won 

 

initially a little disappointed when she popped up in the red Loewe, but it actually worked so well with the color scheme of the lighting in person. the classic is still supreme, but red is still gorgeous

I was just googling around, nothing official has been posted as far as stats go so it's harder to make any type of prediction. I saw one person say $50 million total worldwide but that just seemed to be a random guess tbh

I just want to tell you how hard I was cackling last night when people in here were fighting/having meltdowns and you'd come in and say "my uber canceled.. my phone is at 4%"

I was too busy trying to survive that ordeal to be messy in here 

 

the way I got a ride after 3 am and there were still so many people waiting… I need to look at local news and see if that got covered at all because people were rightfully heated about it

no, thank god. it was just a mess getting a ride. mass cancellations, not enough drivers, and there were weird like… local rideshare folks for smaller companies I didn’t recognize offering people rides but like ridiculously overpriced. like $200/person for rides nearby 

 

it got so bad that people started shouting at those drivers because it takes a certain audacity to try and charge like that when you can visibly see people don’t other options

 

thankfully everyone was looking out for each other though + the driver I finally got was very chill and helped me calm down from the stress bc she was a good conversationalist

I live in San Antonio where TS and Latin artists run this **** musically, and Bey is a non factor except for (Mi Gente, Savage,7/11, Drunk in love, cuff it, partition) but the tickets aren’t doing bad the first couple shows are about half sold at the Alamo Drafthouse already. It probably doesn’t sound amazing but I think It’s promising, I’m more Optimistic on what her gross will be so far.

please, without @kimberly reminding me about the advice that the surrounding area wasn’t safe, I probably would’ve at least walked a bit always to try and summon a ride away from the mess
