I'm not sure how movies work, but IDK that you can gauge anything until opening weekend.  Do people really buy presale tickets?

Yes, box office predictions are usually spot on.  However that is normally closer to the date. Presales give you a good indication.

  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

Per Andrew’s post, I’d think this won’t have any visuals.

If anyone is on the film critic side of the internet like I am, Grace is usually a mess but she’s pretty honest in her opinions.

Such an effotless drag lmao

I’ve watched that trailer so many times today…

Spoiler

Beyoncé transitioned from a whale to a sloth.

There will be a lot of people who only buy tickets close to or day of the showing. Only die hards or people who already attended the concert would buy this early. Not to be compared to eras because the type of fan/demographic is completely different.

Who cares though, I’m glad its getting released at all to a big screen.

They posted this 8hrs ago and have not corrected it.  It most likely is a typo, but I’m still not convinced the tour is over.

Twitter. He posted the credits from the tour next to the movie poster... same credits maybe?

Does anyone know if dancers ever get to have a dinner with Beyoncé and Jay as tour ends? A wrap party they attend? I’m curious how much interaction they actually get with her. Have any dancers been shady on social media? I only stalk Honey and Darius.

hes just celebrating the end of the tour and the announcement of the film.

idk why y'all keep jumping to this lol

The press release already confirmed it's gonna be "global," but it looks like they're still figuring out the distribution as the film's website has emails to contact for WW distributors. I think it will still debut on Dec 1 in other countries.

"The theatrical concert experience will descend upon thousands of movie theaters, with RENAISSANCE set to officially open in the United States, Canada, and Mexico beginning Friday, December 1, 2023. Additional global cities will be announced at a later date."

And what’s even more strange is that the subtitle of the article says “56” dates, but the body of the article says “86” dates. “5” & “8” are not close numbers on the keyboard. lol

some of y'all need to find some positivity in your lives. Beyoncé and her nonexistent will to promote cannot be your only hope.

the complaining is so exhausting, we got the final show of the tour, movie trailer and date, and tickets last night. and y'all are out here acting a fool.

That’s the post I was talking about but I don’t think they know more than we do on the subject :emofish:

I also think it’s misguided to worry about the success of this film and how it will perform. We are past the stage of anything making sense as far as this era goes and we have to work with the cards she dealt us. If it does great awesome, if it flops we know why, but who cares?:cm:

While I would prefer the visuals I still love seeing her give us bts footage and seeing this concert in hd is a treat so I’ll take what I can get

There are going to be empty theaters some places. Bey isn't going to move tons of tickets tickets in, like, Johnson City, TN :rip: You already know some of her haters are going to go in those theaters and share the pictures of empty seats as much as possible.

The gag is That girl has the same thing....and shes two weeks to open. There are some empty venues for her. So it goes both ways
