hi girls. so after digesting the show and the interludes in full twice. the reason she does the album in order is because it’s the story of the film as well. check it:

She starts out as regular old Beyoncé, stuck in a rut, but still putting on the facade that she’s strong (ballads->cozy) she goes to bed and gets abducted by aliens (the alien superstar sleeping bag part/the interlude with lift off+using sweet dreams). Then it goes into the motherboard interlude. She’s hooked up to wires and explores this new world subconsciously/virtually/out of her soul/body (cuff it->BMS) and realizes that excess is not always the best as it leads to greed and war (opulence section with the tank). She begins to realize this and wants her soul back so she finds that through her connection to faith (anointed interlude and church girl section) and starts to have an internal battle (crazy in love/love on top) before having a complete renaissance, realizing she can have both (virgos groove section in the clamshell, the birth of Venus, rebirth=renaissance) and she is reborn. the big 3 begin with an interlude titled “memories” that are a bunch of her older videos, and then it goes into thique where she’s a robot again. This time she’s having a (internal?) battle where the aliens (or “The Echoes”) between her past self and her future self. She is victorious (drunk Dubai rising up at the end), and re emerges in the real world as Beyoncé (America has a problem/the bee costume) more confident in her power than ever (pure/honey intro “perfect 10s”) and rides into the distance on her horse. The end more or less

it’s a black queer science fiction thriller and that’s why distributors have deemed it “strange” or “weirder” than her past films. It seems like this one will tell a full narrative.

I just caught up on everything from last night's show still finding out more random A-listers that attended, seeing more clips. THIS IS THE BEST CONCERT BEYONCE HAS EVER DONE. YES BETTER THAN BEYCHELLA. I'm on the verge of TEARS. I've never seen her so FULL OF LIFE on a stage.

 

Also despite "streaming numbers" or charts, I think we can say Love On Top has ECLIPSED Single Ladies/Crazy In Love/Halo and has become Beyonce's SIGNATURE SONG. If there's one song she leaves a legacy with it's Love On Top. The crowd LOVES it. Did y'all see Tom Holland STANNING during LOT? And he's a geepee.

for real Love on Top goes hard live (as performed by the audience). I've experienced it before, and certainly watched it many more times but it always didn't really do much for me. But at the RWT, singing, shouting, screaming the lyrics was a bonafide experience unto itself. I love the way she's capitalizing on the public's desire to just SING it as loudly and as horribly as they can...it's such a magical moment.

Idk about y'all but I'm just overjoyed. That show was just TOO good besides the mic mess ups. I'm tearing up. Such an epic celebration it felt like a retirement party maybe that's why I feel so emotional

I just didn't expect it. I thought people were overhyping her birthday show. If anything I expected her to half ass it so she can rush to go home and celebrate. I don't think Houston or NOLA will get anything special besides the rumored Megan/Madonna collabs. But I can't see the Madonna one happening but that would be EPIC.

I really hope Kendrick gets a do over (specifically on my date) If she’s professionally recording this tour he needs to have his moment properly filmed with no mishaps. Plus I love his verse on the remix I would love to experience it live

Netflix. It was probably true, but it probably came under certain conditions and...

 

1. Rennie visuals were out of the budgetary pool Netflix were providing. So she's reserving the netflix deal for Documentaries/concert films.

 

2. Netflix still needs to green-light projects within the deal and for whatever reason, they didn't greenlight rennie.... maybe Beyonce didn't pitch a project to them and instead just started filming music videos haphazardly.

 

3. She broke the contract when she made BIK for Disney+

 

4. Netflix negotiated an end to the contract for financial reasons/cost saving
