I asked because I'm pretty sure a few years ago I expressed my desire to listen her version of Rhythm Is A Dancer in this base and... perhaps it's happening 

 

Or maybe she heard of the BEP version and thought that it sucked, plus that she will be able to make a better use of the sample

That’s not a single cover. Also Vogue says it’s club music so I doubt she would preview that and then release a ballad. The single is setting the tone of the album, a ballad would be misleading.
