Reneigh is a model gorl, not a performance gorl. She looks good on print, but it’s giving nothing on stage.  It really is giving that SpongeBob meme of him floating in the air.

Idk. Formation outfit is hard to beat for me. Not only was it serving glitz, glam, and southern, creole witch diva it was also giving a bit more head CUNTress with that snatched waist area and miniskirt. And that’s even before factoring in the iconic oversized hat. 

 

 

 

The I Am opening outfit looks very pageant-y in comparison.

Yeah, this is my least favourite iteration of her flying/floating across the stadium/arena.

 

OTR II > IAWT > MCSWT > RWT (as far as levitation goes)

 

It would be so much better if they just wheeled Reneigh to CR while she started the song on the main stage before being hooked up halfway through.

And as far as using Reneigh in any capacity, I feel like it’s very clunky. But especially as a closer. If anything, riding IN on a horse to usher in the Renaissance would make more sense. So I could see it working better as an entrance device (the robot deconstruction intro is hard to beat tho). 
 

But yeah, would prefer we just do away with it. It’s gimmicky, it’s a little too on the nose with the disco/studio 54 throwback, and doesn’t add much value performance wise. It could have honestly be kept to one show for “shock” value and fan service. Otherwise, we need Summer Renaissance to POP! It’s one of her best songs and definitely top 5 on Renny.

I was thinking about it this morning. In the shower I remembered that Grown Woman still isn’t available to steam or buy, and I went back to 2013. SB, beyhydration, tidbits about the filming, the paparazzi pictures from the Jealousy video, the drop.

 

At my job there was a patient who was eight or nine. She looked like Greta Thunberg but she was wearing a crop top and long plastic toy nails. She had a personality, a bad one. She was rude the way adults can be rude. She didn’t exist when ST dropped. I wanted to hurl myself out the window.

Her best tour outfit ever is the mugler bee look. Without the helmet tho cuz with it she looks like an anime villain - it worked for AHAP though like it was perfect for that. IAWT and OTR 2 though have her best costumes overall

 That’s funny cause I was just looking at it on an insta page and I thought it was giving Hunter x Hunter Chimera Ants arc. 

 

But so true, bestie! I wish she could move better in it. Would be an iconic legacy piece that lasts well beyond her years in music.

Also totally agree about OTR 2 having her best overall looks. You better wake it up on this calm Sunday!

 

Someone people in here get too stuck on those few opening looks, but about midway through the show every look becomes a banger.

I like it for what it is, but her flying around again after they did the horse is a bit overkill. After they dropped her on the horse on Club Renaissance she should've given another lap on the outer circle to wave goodbye to fans in a more direct way. Especially now since she's not doing AUIYM and DIL anymore  She's only on it for Break my soul...

 

Also idk if it's just me but Reneigh's ears appear bigger than in the photoshoot, he kinda looks like a donkey irl I didn't like that
