Atrocious song. I am happy she stopped including low hanging fruit like this and Pretty Sharts on her albums  :cm:

BTINH doesn‘t deserve to be compared to sia‘s tired attempt with pretty hurts!!!

the piano performances she did for BTINH and the demo >>>>>> the album version tho, the album production doesnt even fit 4 imo, its much too sterile and i never really liked the way the intro was done in the studio version, the chorus melody is immaculate though (especially with the heavy drums from the demo) :WAP:

So they are/were still producing visuals? 😭

This podcast is from November so no, they're in post production.

Vocally it’s great and it’s a better version of Irreplaceable (lyrically). Like when I break up with someone imma blast it

I duno... imo Irreplaceable's sass was charming and it's more emotionally hot. The lyrics are more descriptive of a scenario as if we're getting a glimpse of her in the moment. She can say things like "So go ahead and get gone / Call up that chick and see if she's home" and it's likeable, whereas BTINH is all past tense so the cold "sucks to be you" taunting is a bit off-putting to me. It's a little too catty versus sassy.

I mean...it's Beyoncé so she's going to know how to execute a song like this regardless, and I'm just nitpicking...but there's just something about about BTINH that isn't Irreplaceable.

btinh is so bad like don’t put it with irreplaceable pls

right like Irreplaceable sweetie I’m SO sorry :mazen:

4 was my favorite Bey album until Rennie but Worst Song I Ever Recorded has always been down in my bottom 3 songs of hers it’s just so… contrived and out of place on that album

I literally haven’t listened to BTINH in YEEEEAAAAARSSSSS. The fact that it’s so high on her Apple Music like who is listening to that **** :mazen: she disowned it so quick for the timeless classic love on top

Irreplaceable and Best Thing I Never Had are both in my bottom 3 on their respective albums.

Dyduyfufhf irreplaceable isn’t as good as the rest as bday but it’s still a good song. BTINH was a choice!

What does people think of Me, Myself and I? I always liked it, such a perfect rnb song.

I think it’s a masterpiece! It was a bit underrated in 203 following Crazy In Love & Baby Boy - but it’s become a R&B staple since.

What is with the Best Song I Ever Heard shade in here, the FUNKINESS…:mazen: 4sus doesn’t have a single bad song and that’s that!:mazen:

I wondered this too, but it’s actually featured on her essentials playlist so that would probs explain why lol

Legends

In what world is BTINH giving funk :skull: It should not be compared to the #1 Billboard hit of 2007, that was a classic

I do agree that it pales in comparison to other songs on 4, but it charted high for a reason! Give her the credit she deserves:giraffe:  plus the video is cute idcccc

“MOVE Julius” poor man has been bullied by her for ages:dies:

not too much on best thing i never had! :duca: i grew up loving that song down! :celestial2: the only song on 4 worthy of slander is i was here. it never felt like it fit on the album imo, literally sounds like a song from a soundtrack of an inspirational film. would’ve honestly fit more for that ‘epic’ movie she randomly did in 13’ tbh :skull:

Top10 in her discography. A modern classic indeed. Timeless. She did that.

i think they meant as in smell, cuz that song smells like death, and i live next to a morgue so i should know what death smells like

I could not imagine making a top 10 list for Bey. Too hard.
