I looked on ticket master for the metlife shows are there are so many crazy priced resells :skull: are people just putting their tickets up bc they think they can make a quick buck? i fear the dynamic pricing is going to backfire re. attendence

At least with tickets master UK you can't put you resell up for more than you bought it, so maybe these people just paid crazy prices to begin with?

I think if the tickets don’t sell in the next few months before the NA leg they’ll stop the bullshit dynamic pricing and they’ll sell out damn near instantly. I still don’t see her doing much less than taylor in the US and the EU prices are still expensive lol

She will end up grissing $1 billion when this tour is over.🤣

She needs to add the following:

Latin America:

Brazil (2 shows)

Argentina (1 show)

Colombia (1 show)

Mexico (2 shows)

Oceania:

Australia (2 shows)

New Zealand (1 show)

Asia:

Singapore (1 show)

South Korea (1 show)

Thailand (1 show)

Japan (2 shows)

Philippines (1 show)

China ( 1 Hong Kong/1 Shanghai)

India (1 show)

Africa:

South Africa (1 show)

Ghana (1 show)

Senegal (1 show)

Nigeria (1 Show)

Ethiopia (1 Show)

Middle East:

Qatar (1 Show)

Dubai (1 Show)

Then go back to Europe and visit countries she did not in first leg. 80 shows at least.

Well that rule clearly doesn’t exist in the US. There are resales available for much higher than the already astronomical original piece

She should do more than just 2 brazil shows and less asia dates, at least less in china like are concerts really big there? Correct me if I’m wrong. She’s also gonna need like 5 or 6 shows in South Africa lol

2 shows in Oceania? More like two shows in Sydney.. Plus Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and two shows in Auckland. Depending on demand, she might even manage a second show in Melbourne. With the costs involved in a tour like Beys she's not going to do just two shows if she bothers to come.

I don't see it happening tbh.

This is partly the problem with a big stadium production tour.

Maybe she can do 3 shows in Australia and 2 in South America but beyond that I'm not sure.

Ofc it depends on the actual stage design bey will have but you guys have to understand that it simply is not worth it (it is too expensive and doesn't yield results) to have to move a giant stage set up, have to import it into a country (say India) and set it up in a stadium for just one date and then move out. This is not like Europe where "countries" don't matter because there aren't practical borders and Europe is small overall. Also Western countries have a lot of experience with concerts of this size so it makes its easier too.

The logistics of doing 1 show in a country and moving on is a nightmare and likely won't make her any money. Which is partly why doing an ARENA tour is easier in terms of truly being worldwide.

But if her stage set up this time is not as huge and crazy like say, FWT, then *maybe* she could do some of these countries - but just in the port cities (like Mumbai for India).

And this is just scratching the surface for the logistical impracticalities involved. I'm not making excuses for her not to do it. I've never seen her live because I was in Asia all my life before this and its SUCKS.

I hope to see the days when taking stadium tours for Western artists to all Asian countries becomes easier and streamlined. Acts like BTS really opened up more space but South Korea and Japan were easier before that too.

Is Taylor going to countries like India?

she hasn't announced international dates for The Eras Tour yet, but she has never performed in India before. not sure she'll change that now.

I think this is the main issue. Especially for some of the countries they listed, it'll be a hard sell to ask for $300 for nosebleeds and $4k for floor tickets to help out with the cost.

I would truly love to see her do a proper global tour and hit the countries many Western artists don't step foot in. I don't want to get hopes up though, if she ends up doing North America + Europe and call it a day like everyone else.

It is indeed tricky tho. China just recently has opened borders again for instance and thus its super expensive to get there and transport everything to China (logistically speaking)

If I'm not mistaken, it was reported that she would allegedly stop in Japan for just a few concerts in 2024.

Not sure about South Korea or the rest of Asia.

Nnn, sorry she is not performing all the those African countries. She is doing 2-3 nights in in SA and maybe one other place. She's not stepping foot in Ethiopia for example which is considered a conflict zone  :rip:

You're on the money here but why is everyone underestimating demand in Aus? She can sell out 5 dates in Aus no problem,  8 or 9 if she stretches it.

Thailand? Singapore? Japan?

Japan hasn't been supportive and Singapore is a very small country.

Now if she's putting in the effort to make other continents happen, this is what it could realistically look like:

South Africa: 2 dates

Brazil: 1 festival or 2 dates

South Korea + Japan: 2 dates (this is unlikely)

Australia + NZ: 5 dates

If anything she should do India. Most populous country in the world + her reputation is very good there + Hymn For The Weekend was a huge over there => lots of potential to make good bank

It's complicated.

If she'd do India, Mumbai is the only place realistically. It's one of the biggest city and home to their entertainment industry (like LA). It has two big stadiums, but, they are cricket stadiums. The problem with them is that they are not suited for concerts as the pitch is huge. It'll feel more like a festival show.

I think bey should actually go to india, not focus on a stadium, and do a festival style show in one of the many available grounds (or 'maidans').

It's still a big ask but if the ticket prices are decent, she can manage it. But it's very hard to imagine. It someone like Taylor swift - with a massive following in India and an artist who always pleases her fans - hasn't figured out a way to do it. Bey will be tricky - logistically.

It's a dream of mine for her to break into the Indian market with her touring.

Ok that actually makes sense. Never thought of the way stadiums are built in places like India.

I have no doubt in mind Bey would sell out super fast tho. Her reputation as a performer is now pretty much equivalent to MJs status - a global agreement shes the best.

She is not going to AUS for 2 shows. It needs to be worth her while. 5+ shows

Remember during MCSWT, she had enough demand to fill the arenas 20x? She could easily fill a stadium 5-8 times there, if not more

The reason she didn't go during FWT was the cost of travel, and I guess what they estimated the demand to be, wasn't there issues with shipping her stage?  Her demand has WAY pushed passed past that.

You can still get tix for MetLife and Chicago added a bunch. Seems easy enough to get tickets now?

The second Chicago date has a few tickets, but they're expensive, and nothing really great.

I accidentally bought wheelchair accessible tickets for my second date.  Is that okay :deadbanana4:
