Didn't the Wearable Art Gala say the tour was starting in Summer 2023? If so, she's not performing in May.

I personally think there can be legitimate reasonings for her mixing arenas and stadiums. 

 

Not only does it allow her to tour more freely in different cities but also if any album's music might demand a truly night time atmosphere (basically Europe and its late sunsets) it would be Renaissance. I can easily imagine a disco ball shinning it's light everywhere for example. And I'm sure her production visions will fall even more flat than usual if it's light outside. So she can tour big arenas and stadiums which have roofs. 

 

I don't mind it. It allows her to perform in cities in accordance to demand too (some places it is easy for her to sell out the stadiums and in others it might not be!). 

 

Ofc this is just me idle speculating... We don't even know if the tour will happen. The only thing we know for now is there are more acts and that she is performing for an invite only special opening event for a Dubai hotel. 

I’m just glad the Grammys is before the SuperBowl. We don’t have to worry about Rihanna overshadowing when it comes to Bey’s tour announcement.

If my memory serves me right, she announced the formation tour in February 16 and it started in April 16, so there's still time.

The US dates in summer 2023. She can still do UK in May, plus close enough to summer either way. 
 

Before she would also tour Europe first in May then come to the US in late summer.

No, I just double-checked and it says that the tour is kicking off in Summer 2023. May is definitely not Summer, so I highly doubt that post is correct.

Ding ding ding. That might cause the delays. She’s probably super insistent on it being dark, I’m surprised she wasn’t on OTRII, but then again it was just a huge cash grab. Scheduling the Stadium stage and Arena stage as well. I just hope the production is top notch like the formation tour. Ugh that stage was otherworldly.

It would be stupid to wait until June 21, 2023 to start just for a technicality, especially with dates being so sensitive. May, June, sunny weather, its all semantics and can all be lumped in as Summer.

I think you're being too technical here. Americans end school in late April/early May. May being considered Summer for them is not something people would bat an eye at.

It’s definitely not the reason, all the rumoured venues so far have been outside apart from 1 or 2. Stadium of light is outdoors. I wouldn’t be surprised if she does some arenas around Europe and Asia. Hopefully stadiums in Australia.

I feel like stadium tours should be announced 4-6 months in advance if you want packed stadiums. 
 

Arena tours you can get away with 1-3 month notices

I guess short notice isn’t a problem for American Hive if it’s true that we’re not getting this tour until 2024 anyway

Sofi Stadium - US

Tottenham or Twickenham - UK

Stadium Of Light - UK

Slane - Ireland (Booked but changed)

Olympic Stadium - Italy

Altice Arena - Portugal

 

She is playing stadiums in France but not Stade De France. 

If anyone can remember anymore rumours. Add to it.

Yeah I don’t understand what is going on, I would’ve had it on sale in Oct.

 

Touring seems to be bigger now since covid so hopefully it does good anyway.

I don't know what to expect from this Dubai performance, I feel like it could seriously be a real Beyoncé show with choreogeaphy and all in which case we'll likely get video's for certain performances, or it's more of an acoustic vocal set with no real dancing going on and none of the renaissance songs (in which case we'll probably get no clips from the show at all). The latter is more likely if we're going with the narrative that this is just for the big check in order to fund something (i doubt it since she doesn't really need some paycheck to afford anything at all)
