I have this song on my work playlist and every time it comes on someone says how good it is and what a throwback it is for them. Should’ve been a hit single

Bey hasn’t toured in 5 years now. I think that’s strongly affecting her recurrent streams today. Like I don’t know how the “daily stream” obsessed OBH is going to cope when she tours Renaissance and performances/new choreo go viral left and right on TikTok (because we know they will)… It’s not like this is a Dua or Gaga tour. This is the best performer of a generation that’s going to tour in the age of TikTok. Her entire catalog will see a boost again as any catalog does when millions pregame for a concert. It’s just a matter of time. That one particular base is just getting way too brave.
 

We also forget that she was the first woman to have 3 albums cross a billion streams on Spotify in 2018. This was with albums that came out before the streaming era in a decade where she lacked any “global hits” while Lemonade was still rotting away in Tidal Correctional Facility.. So it’s not as though her catalog isn’t strong. She arguably has more deep cuts and cult classics than most MPGs who rely on hits for relevancy/streams. She just didn’t spawn any real global pop smashes in the 2010s.

"What's It Gonna Be" because the instrumental and ad-libs are so good. "I'm leaving" is a BOP tho.

Yes, I can see this happening. Imagine the Heated outro live go viral. She has a strong fanbase in Brazil/Ocenia/Europe/ Africa and a little concert here and there will boost her Spotify numbers since these countries are using Spotify heavily compared to US, which isn't much problem considering she slayed AM. 

 

She had a few moments from TMCSWT that went viral and even the lip sync battle. The 'silence' is what killing her commerical power. She had always been 'silent' but she never been this silent (for 6 years now)

Wasn't there rumours going around that she started rehearsing for the tour in October? 

I wish her an ounce of luck if she thinks she will be able to announce a stadium tour 2 month before it begins and not struggle like she did for OTRII.
