I definitely don't see much GP noise about the "controversy' that had the girls melting down here when Atlantis show was announced. But, at the same time, her putting it front and center to be dissected en masse seems...risky. 

 

 

I mean we'll take what we're given and will gag accordingly, but I'm just thinking about the bigger picture. I really don't want another BIK scenario where she delivers on an epic scale but is overshadowed by asinine noise.

 

At the same time, filming it and putting it out relatively quickly (or even live!) would be perfect tour promo and very much fits her current practice of doing less but letting the little she does do have a maximized impact.

These girls will never get a leg up on Bey regarding controversy. Some faves have their whole forehead on buildings to promote their product. We're not going to let stans admonish Bey and her bag in 2023. From those who take private jets over the state line, cancel their shows at the last second and cry about it, ticketmaster mess and literally hopping on every opportunity that benefits monetarily.

Wow, never saw the part about it being female led. With the right spin/presentation, it's an easy "issue" to nip in the bud before it's even allowed to became an "issue". 

 

I actually have no issue with her performing there for the exact reasons you outlined (huge hypocrisy of those complaining), but there's also an "optics" situation that can't be side-stepped. 

 

With it being female led, it aligns with her pro-female messaging and sees her continue to innovate.

This could be the hopeful fan in me, but I do wonder if since this is meant to ADVERTISE this new venue (kind of like Revel), if no cameras will be allowed BUT they will release the HD concert somewhere. It doesn't quite do them justice to spend all that money treating VIP clients if they aren't getting the word out there globally of what kind of amazing show to expect, what the venue is like, etc.

 

And since we know Beyoncé knows how to write a contract relative to her video rights, if this were the case it would be agreed that Parkwood would produce it...in which case...it could be the first performance promo?

 

I am intrigued.

i’m certainly intrigued but i’ll doubt we’ll ever see any professional footage from this event, it’ll probably join the FWT and OTRII in the vault. Miss Where Is The FWT DVD Knowles showed us who she really was and i believed her the first time 

yall doing too much...this has no chance of being a dvd & nothing to do with the tour. she is the hired entertainment for a business party...its as simple as that. this has nothing to do with the fans or GP.

I’m still hopeful that some arrogant rich person will at least post a horrible shaky 10 second video, the lack of performances for this era is so disturbing I’m gonna be delusional and hope that she reuses the set for a grammy performance

Then it'll be two spectacular failures following her expensive appearances and she'll be known as hotel poison. She'll never get booked for one of these garish events ever again. The industry will avoid her like the plague, a hotel blacklist. Yay! HIVE HOTEL HELL as per the New York Post. LODGING DODGING BEY DEBRIS, Variety will say. FROM HIVE TO DIVE. BREAK MY RESERVATION.
