I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

I'm having one of those days where I despise Giselle for the visuals fiasco.  Drops the Visuals please creole lady.  My GAHD

Its not just that. I just don't get why she treats Rennie like an unwanted child whos been put up for adoption :rip:

Not bad for her most abandoned era :clap3:

Imagine if she gave a tad bit more promo. :jonny5:

Y’all are too much. Promo isn’t gonna do anything. This isn’t 2007.

People will keep streaming Ren because it’s an amazing album and in this era everything is a slow burn (in terms of accumulating sales). The visuals and tour will give it a (minor) boost and keep things selling well for a long time.

Well commercial success is honestly the least of us complainers' concerns, it has more to do with lack of content in terms of visibility and performances and such. Its so dry when it really didnt have to be. If we didnt know any better, this couldve been a posthumous album :rip:

Doing a part 2 of the Cuff It picks is not a terrible idea… It might encourage some people to do a Cuff It tiktok just to be acknowledged by Bey in a possible part 3.

Now, she needs to start going stronger the next tracking week. Visualizer, video, remixes, acapella, instrumental. Let’s go Giselle!

A performance definitely could, but we know that isn't happening

The way my heart stopped when I saw she has an IG story with the blood moon speculation and stuff :deadbanana4:

I HATE IT IN HERE OMG

I feel like everyone here has said something about how Act ii do less first  week sales compared to REN. I disagree.

Act I: Renaissance has established (or I guess tried to solidify) Beyoncé’s streaming performance/ presence. She does well on Apple Music, I assume Act ii will do similarly to REN there.

On Spotify she has so much room for improvement. It’s a good thing she didn’t open with crazy numbers like Taylor did with Folklore, because she was only going to go down with a release following only a few months after that one, as evidenced by Evermore’s streams vs Folklores. She had a modest opening and if the album is just as good or even better she might even do 50% more than REN, say 70- 80 million streams.

Her physicals have kind of been consistently good. She opened with 190,000 pure copies and it could’ve been more tbh. She needs to take advantage of vinyls because I think she has suppressed her potential there by pressing a few copies compared to her counterparts. Harry did 182,000 vinyls, Taylor did 500,000 and Adele & Kendrick did a lot as well I presume. Bey could definitely do 100,000 - 200,000 vinyls as well in 1 week. Add about 150,000 albums on CD (should continue her 4x box sets and more), some cassette sales and an improved streaming performance (~180,000 SEA) … Act ii can definitely rival B’Day and Harry’s House numbers.

She will need another strong first single, perfect length for streaming and radio-friendly. I want a similar roll-out to REN with the first single coming 4-6 weeks before the album to build the sales as well as hype and excitement. She needs to do more within those 6 weeks prior to the album drop than she did for REN though.

It's possible she does better indeed if her team has a better rollout : videos, content, nourished hype, vinyls out first week, two versions like they did (standard and limited) or more, CDs stacked etc.

She might also increase on AM but Spotify, I'm not sure.

I'm also not sure but I hope pre-sales of vinyls or CDs will remain high. People spend money for such items out of excitement and because they want to be part of a moment. There was no excitement or moment(s) this era and the deliveries of said CDs and vinyls were badly handled by her team.

Some stans still haven't received their vinyls, orders were canceled and the taxes were abusive. But she has a loyal stanbase that will probably trust her again imo. However the new era shouldn't be like this one.

If she releases a lead single ahead of the album, I hope they go with the AS of the album and something must happen to keep the excitement going because for REN that wasn't the case. It was dry and actually made the excitement and hype for the album deflate.

She needs to tour ASAP!!!

and the fact that ~2.5 million of those are CUFF IT yikes :rip:

The tour is not coming until summer next year lol.

Tbh I thought a new album will help her streams on Spotify but it hasn't been the case, Idk maybe because nothing is happening. Not sure a tour will help that much.

And I can't even imagine how low it would be had they not made CI a single. The album would be pulling less than 3M now.

Yes with a better, more exciting roll-out she can definitely enjoy a better yield. I feel like we give artists sh*t when it comes to choosing lead singles, I really don’t think it’s that easy tbh.

She needs to release Act 2 between June and Aug next year. I actually fear she’ll release Act 2 while on tour so we still won’t get the casual award show performances.

The Weeknd’s tour is doing amazing for his recurrent streams even though he’s touring off of an underperforming era. I think Bad Bunny’s and Harry Styles massive streams are also helped by their current tours.

I would be in my full delulu hive mode believing in the blood moon theory and something dropping today but it being election day has made me question even my true nature (delulu hive)

Oh don't get me wrong. I'm OK with BMS as a lead. But I just think that if it's an era where there's nothing big happening (like maybe no video, performances again) coming after an era where barely nothing happpened, the song has to be stronger.

Let's hope the tour is announced soon maybe just that could give a little boost.

The best thing you can do is be seen in general. It's very odd that folks with a soundtrack single has been seen more than Bey within the last 6 months with a lead single she pulled from radio and a 3 month old album trying to hang in the top 10 with literally no effort.

It's a flex to a degree, but it's reallnot y fun as a fan. Idk. I'm disappointed in Bey but want to be proud. She doesn't have to do much to show she cares. Idgi.
