I get his intent was to shine a light on why other streaming platforms aren’t heavily recognized here. And the answer is simply cause Spotify is more global, pop-centered, and puts their data and streaming numbers on display. 
 

the racism part wasn’t needed, even tho we know AM and Tidal urban artists shine better there.

We should look outside Spotify but as discussed in the thread Spotify is much bigger globally and has the data. There's nothing weird about it.
