Nah, Rih is about to BODY Beyonce for the first time and its gonna be obvious too.

Streaming is going to work for Rihanna IMMENSLY, and prove that the right fan engagement works.

And no one in here can use any of the following excuses: racism, sexism, colorism, appeal, none of that because Bey = Rih to most casual listeners.

Sis dropped the ball and that is that.

Say what you want, but I didn't see the same excitement for REN as I'm seeing for Rih.

Beyonce is finally, truly, out of touch.

We said it during Self-Titled, but it's gotten so bad now it feels like she's Zeus and we are not allowed on Mt. Olympus.

You guys are exaggerating and have completely lost faith in Beyoncé. Y’all are dreading these comparisons because you all believe Rihanna will outdo Beyoncé.

Many of Beyoncé and Rihanna’s eras have run concurrently so I don’t know why you are all scrambling all of a sudden. Rihanna will get the hits (she will not have a bigger opening than REN I promise you that, Twitter likes mean nothing. She’ll get a bigger streaming debut though but not close to ~200k pure sales) and Bey will get the acclaim, the tour and the Grammys.

Someone also mentioned Rih, Adele, Taylor and everyone under the sun are coming… Bey is coming TOO!

Anyways these comparisons are really so unnecessary.

Not y’all doubting if the tour will sell. :rip:

Touring demand is higher than ever after COVID, people are dying to live their lives and have everything feel normal again. She hasn’t had a solo tour in 6 years and has a reputation for being one of the greatest performers ever.

She will sell out.

I hope the tour works as effective promotion of the album and gives it a big boost.

We just need hits, right now CI seems to take off so I'm OK tbh.

I just hope her team makes moves on it so it can sustain.

This is an interesting view. For some reason i wish the acts would drop before the tour but people may say it'll be overexposing. On the other hand we would get so many things fed and there wouldn't be another beyhydration. I fear that once all the acts, the tour and visuals are out, the waiting game for her next era will be at least as long as it was between Lemonade and Renaissance.

She's got other business ventures as she has told Harpers Bazaar Magazine. I'm sure there will be a few more Ivy Park drops & also possibly some beauty/wellness products as she might have hinted in that interview.

No wonder she doesn't engage with her fans, when she has fans like this.

And some fans are like this because of her behaviours. It goes both ways. :michael:

It's gotten so extreme BECAUSE the way she's treated her first studio album release in 6 years so extreme. Like, most of this discourse wouldn't be happening if she released a music video, performed her lead single a couple times and put a lil bts footage on YT, which is literally the bare minimum an artist would do during an album release.  :toofunny2:

I highly doubt anyone in here expects her to grind the tv/radio shows on a daily basis for months on end like she were 21yo again. But to just disappear like that for months once you put a record out and give no content whatsoever either is honestly an insult to the millions of fans who spend their money on you and because of whom you have the budget and power to be creating high profile records like this in the first place.

I agree with the first part but I don't think you should underestimate Rihanna's selling power. Especially seeing the hype from the GP around her comeback. There's a big chance Rih will outdo herself streaming, sales AND acclaim wise with R9.

and if her legacy is not as strong as her peers or predecessors then guess what!?! that's fine too!

Beyonce doesn't care...its not your fight. none of this angst is hitting home. she'll submit, lose, and still show up b/c none of this is really that serious. yall look crazy. take her lead & rest.

Yea I think most of you forget that it is HER career at the end, if she doesn’t care that she is falling off, why do some of you care? Like I don’t get it. As frustrating as it is, just let it be and let her make decisions about her career as she wants.

But I do need the damn visuals, I’m kinda losing it :weeps:

Yeah I feel like what most disgruntled fans in here are asking for IS the middle ground - nobody is expecting her to run a promo tour like Lizzo with the About damn time era. Music videos and performances are a huge reason why Beyoncé is so special - I don’t blame fans for being frustrated at the lack of this type of presentation for what I think is her strongest album yet

I don't think it's THAT deep.

And once again, we STILL don't know what they're planning for this era. We got a teaser so we know videos are coming.

Yes it's frustrating but we need to stop acting like she's left the era in the dust.

Maybe the Hive are the only ones who care at this point and the videos wouldn't do much for the longevity of the album, but they are still coming.

The era (if one would call it that) is dust at this point. You can't disappear for 2 months then come back like the world is gonna stop for you when you come back :skull: Unless she or a family members are having some sort of issues this was poorly handled.

her nosebleeds aren't $200 unless they're resale tickets (so... already sold). I think for OTR II $200 got you a seat on the field, though towards the back. nosebleeds started from $39 or something like that.

the real money maker for Beyoncé is the pit + VIP packages. those go for anywhere from $800 to like $2,000 :deadbanana4:

Tbf her nosebleeds aren’t that high. :skull:

I do agree if she was white and/or heavily pandering she would make extreme numbers. Renaissance kinda gained back those pop stans.

I'm not foolish enough to buy a resale ticket :skull: I paid over $100 my second time at the Formation tour and could barely see anything and I paid even more for the OTRII. That tour definitely didn't sell out immediately. There's a reason they rushed and released EIL.

It's even more annoying that regular people are putting in more work to get her music out there than she is. You can't say that isn't weird af.

That seems on brand lately. The rushed OTR II Tour with the rehashed setlist, the rushed joint album that was released on the day it was finished, this rushed era with no clear direction where we make up theories about "how the visuals aren't ready". Most of these were probably due to contracts they needed to get out of the way. :priceless:

The OTR was definitely for Jay and Live Nation contract because there's no way in hell he was gonna fulfill that on his own.

The thing about Renaissance is why did she release the album so early if things weren't prepared? Fans always want new music but she could've waited another month or two and had things together before releasing the album. The day she announced the date for the album release everything should've been prepared. The fact that she recorded BMS after the song was released was a sign that this era was gonna be sloppy af but as a fan I was being optimistic.

mmhh I doubt that very much. We can agree to disagree :)

I'm just going to assume it's either 1) Bey is not immune to schedules and she needed to have an album out to fulfill her contract, visuals aren't finished. 2) Visuals are finished, something else is going behind the scenes in terms of streaming rights/exclusivity. 3) Her team/management are actually dumb. Maybe withholding the visuals for a "hype" moment to promote the tour once the dates are finalize, after it lost steam.

Y'all

The tour is going to sell out, it will be her highest grossing tour :rip:

Some of us may not even get tickets because it will be an absolutely blood bath trying to get them.

I agree with that it could be any one of these, I just hope it isn't the last one :skull: The tour would sell itself if people were exposed to the product like it has for every other artist for many years.

I might drive to Nashville because those tickets rarely go fast :lmao: @Click Clack is that the show you're attending?

There's no doubt it will sell out. The girls here are shook, panicking for no reason. The sheer anxiety I will have the minute it goes on sale trying to grab those pit tickets. :jonny5:

Break My Soul alone already sold 50% of that tour. Cuff It is working on the rest :eli:

She will be more than fine.

Dangerously In Love and I Am...Sasha Fierce sold the tour out already :lmao: The desperation after Covid did the rest.
