I need the New York to actually be in you know… NEW YORK. I don’t feel like traveling to Jersey again and spend four hours in the middle of the night trying to get home.

If she does it again and you can afford it I would just make a staycation of it and get a hotel. I can't even imagine the nightmare.

one of my friends who lives in New York state hates Metlife stadium so much that she skipped the Coldplay show in Jersey and booked a ticket to London for their Wembley show :ahh:

she obviously had other options but she probably said, if im traveling, let me make it fun.

And you’re poor.

I’m kinda concerned about the country album rumours. If she actually does a full country album, how is she gonna pull it off? Like, country is not a thing outside the US, no one is a Beyoncé fan because we expect country music and second parts of things usually flop compared to the first ones… I could see it performing like EIL. :biblionny: I kinda hope she sticks to club music, there’s still a lot to explore there.

Lemonade was a bigger cultural moment but the music didn't speak to the people the way it is this time.

This is most definitely a lie :rip:

BMS most likely won't end up passing Formation/Sorry US units. Renaissance likely won't ever outsell Lemonade WW or US with the way this era is going. And this is all with Lemonade being sabotaged the way it was. Don't let the BMS radio/remix fuelled #1 confuse you.

LUV Renaissance, but Lemonade undoubtedly made way more noise musically. We can praise Renaissance success without trying to dismiss Lemonade.

no it’s true lemonade didn’t have much single success didn’t have all these beyoncé themed nights at the clubs i did not hear them songs out in public the way i do with renaissance. lemonade had more people talking about beys personal life bc of the cheating/forgiveness narrative throughout the album. “becky w the good hair” and all that and her making the album so pro black in imagery was controversial. formation was a huge moment though :jonny5: WHEN HE **** ME GOOD I TAKE HIS ASS TO RED LOBSTAH

renaissance is pure innocent fun! the music is musicing ppl are bopping to the music without worrying about her husband and all that

Formation was the single of Lemonade. So I’ma assume that’s her route all 3 acts.

Honestly with every passing week I’m just like well we are indeed that much closer to whatever’s next and somehow that is enough to feel in it for me bc I know everything she has in store is top tier even if we gotta wait it out.

LEMONADE was and always be bigger than REN to me. Remember when she released Formation and we have this Beyoncé is Black parody? Every couldn't stop talking about her SB and her falling down while dancing went viral.

And then we have the release of Lemonade where Ellen/James etc etc make a parody.

We'll probably get parodies as soon as the visuals drop. There's not much to parody now. Though Jimmy Fallon was def mocking the Hive's meltdowns when the profile pics went down and the website clues appeared.

The Lemonade era came with immediate visuals and the tour began the next month. In the end, "Renaissance" will be bigger imo. People connect to the music more. Lemonade was great, in theory, but most people didn't vibe with the songs much. The songs weren't everywhere.

I'm not talking about BMS being number one.

And no one is trying to dismiss Lemonade. Lemonade is a cultural force and masterpiece. But much of the conversation was around the themes and particularly the revelation Jay cheated.

People are just straight up enjoying Renaissance without any narrative around it. It's purely music fueling it.

club ren tour has to start with im that girl… into diva into formation into flawless/i been on  :WAP:

Nah, BMS is bigger than any song on Lemonade, it's a song the GP are actually aware of and can sing to. Beyoncé hasn't had a hit this big on her own since Drunk In Love. It's definitely a song for the people.

so she’s singing before she even hits the stage “i pull up and these clothes look so good cuz i’m in that hoe…”there’s hella smoke and lights and then when she says deadass the stage opens up up and she’s on the horse. and then she does im that girl the lights are kinda red (the album color scheme and essence) and then idk how the set list gon go… but it ends with break my soul and the horse reappears and it starts flying around the stadium (if bad bunny can fly around with that palm tree she can get that horse around the stadium) while the dancers on the stage hit the choreo hella fireworks and confetti everywhere and she’s ad libbing the last chorus then she gives us a speech about how she loves us thank you love you deep as the horse returns to the stage and the choir keeps singing and she goes back beneath the stage
