Morgan Wallen's a white guy making country music. His demo still buy physical albums and use iTunes.

I thought Chart Hive gave up during Lemonade. 

Beyonce is not a Taylor or Adele...never was...never will be....it's literally impossible for her to ever get the same commercial appeal as them. and that's perfectly okay. You don't need to sell as much as them to create a legacy...history proves it. ChartHive needs to stop trying to compete with these current artists. Stop trying to fit Beyonce into the mold of a Gen Z artist and recognize her as the 90s veteran artist that she is in reality.

 

Beyonce IS 1 of 1...no one else that was on the charts in 1997 with her has been able to come back & do the numbers she already has in 2022. Gold in under 1 month when many of her real peers don't even sell that in total anymore. A critically acclaimed album that's in conversation for AOTY when many of her peers best work has been long behind them. That's why Beyonce gets the praise & accolades....pay attention to context.

 

she's co-existing amongst artists who weren't even born or were little kids when she debuted. the fact that she's still in the conversation is the win in 2022...she doesn't have to be #1 amongst them in 2022. 

I don’t get it. She got the #1 song/album. She put out an excellent body of work. I’m happy with what I got.  She’s never gonna be the girl she was promo wise ever again so all the tantrums are a bit contrived.

She didn't promise us performances and single releases when she released her merch and music. We bought them of our own volition.

 

And it's been ONE month. ONE. We know there's an entire film and not one but TWO more albums coming. The old complaint was "She did everything at once and now its boring!!!"

 

Now the complaint is she isn't doing it quickly enough. I would be dragging her right along with you if we still didn't have an album, but we do.

 

Frankly, some of you just use her as a punching bag.

What the f*ck is a proper era? She announced the album, gave u a tracklist, gave u a lead single with a pre order even…everything went to number 1, she trends on twitter daily, songs are viral on tiktok.
