We were so spoiled with information when she was on twitter. We'd always have some idea of what she was up to and now, nothing.

I am not too sure since the movie is being filmed way into 2024 probably and she is most likely taking a break after the filming period is done.

Does anyone know how the filming schedule for Wicked 1&2 will work? I know they’re filming back to back, but what’s the time frame? I’m still hoping they edit it down to one movie. 

I read somewhere that filming is supposed to take only 6 months but tbh I find that hard to believe

she recorded Christmas & Chill in like two days and Thank u, next in a week or two, so there's absolutely no excuse for her to not have enough time to record an album for these past 2 years. 

Maybe she's tired from music (doubt it) or just been uninspired for a while.

Does Scooter/Republic just not care?  I'm assuming she fulfilled her contract, but I would think they would be doing something to promote her music in the meantime. He could have easily pushed STM.

 

It's hard to believe she'd wait until 2025 but we also never thought Rihanna would wait 7+ years to release. 

She really should’ve dropped an album in early 2022 before filming started, I really don’t get how couldn’t she make one in late 2021 while doing the voice? It’s not like that gig took all of her time

AG7 in early 2022 and AG8 in 2025 would’ve been great, instead we’re getting AG7 five years after Positions

The movie is being released December 2024, what are you talking about?  They started in December 2022. It should take 5-6 months to film both parts.

I dont see her touring tbh, maybe after Wicked she will, I do think the album is coming before 2025, I think it’s kinda obvious it will be released either next year or in Q4 this year

I’m half and half on the SwT outtakes but I love all the TUN and positions leaks so far. Dream should have definitely been on the album.

AG7 in 2022 and AG8 in 2026 would've been perfect tbh. It wouldn't have even felt like a long gap with Wicked in 2024/2025. I understand she wasn't inspired though

Now you know she is not gonna tour right before doing Wicked promo  We MAY get a tour in 2025, but even then I think it's unlikely. I'm seriously not expecting another tour until 2026. This year would've been the perfect time but she ruined that.

You may be joking but I wouldn't be surprised if she's thinking about it tbh (just the babies part nn). She might as well take full advantage of the music hiatus and have one now, it wouldn't mess with Wicked promo schedule

It might be this highkey, r.e.m and the merch drops are like the plan to evergreen her brand/popularity while she's gone but I think how big of a pivot was makes me think she was just trying to clear up her commitments so she could do her own thing.

It wouldn't have sounded any different and probably would've been rushed and uninspired + zero promo again, y'all were already starting to drag her by saying she was doing the same old **** with the Tommy tracks and ignoring her career highlights on Positions so I'm glad she's giving y'all some time to SIT in the corner and think about what y'all did  

She can release AG7 between the first movie and second one tho or I'm mailing two tickets to Avatar 3 to Jon M. Chu myself

Her being active in her TikTok comments and on IG fan pages makes me hopeful though. She misses us just a little. I think she knows a movie musical era is not for everyone and will feed us when it's time.

this might be an unpopular opinion but i don't think she should drop an album before Wicked, she should just do a tour

i hope the album cycle is the year in between the wicked movies
