The fact that all of my faves are either on hiatus or in their lazy era so I had to leave music and turn to movies / TV series. Thank God my favourite shows are back.

 

All my other faves have released over the past year (bad bunny, Abel and Doja) so so far I’m ok with the drought, I just hope that the wait is worth and she’ll actually DO something interesting

I kind of felt the same some months ago, I don't love her first album that much but Future Nostalgia really is one of my favourite albums ever, plus attending her tour is what really got me on board

I feel like Mimi's styling work is very underrated. ngl looking back at the thank u, next era her aesthetic was very tacky and it helped perpetuate the caricature of herself that people kind of perceive now (BAKED tan, sky high pony, frills and skirts and not much else) whereas I feel like Mimi's choices have helped make her fashion more modern, muted while still feminine and girly like she is.

Praying she switches positions to Michael Anthony for Wicked era, Ash's beat on her is going to keep the botched allegations going with the horrific nose contour

Mimi has definitely enabled Ariana to move into the next phase of her career; there's no way she was gonna be able to keep pulling off the big sweaters for forever

Working with Mimi has been one of my favorite/best decisions she's ever made. Her styling has been excellent since 2020. She's been looking much more mature, elegant and classy. The GLOW UP from those oversized sweaters is real.

 

 

 

 

 

 

2021 is lowkey her beauty peak for me and its SAD that we havent even seen her that much outside of The Voice.

UGHHHH the black and silver look for r.e.m beauty with the hair down should've been a ******* cover, they were insane for that  

 

I also really love how seamless the transition was and that there's little callbacks to her more known style with the pieces, it really ties everything in beautifully and make her still feel like herself, just more edited and elegant

Thats so true. Love the way she's been styling her hair/ponytail too.

I know this is an unpopular opinion but I actually do love her makeup now  except the excessive baking she has sometimes. It just looks worse in edited pics and makes her looks SO pale.

Seriously though, her 2018/2019 looks may be iconic but I hated them. Her style was childish and tacky. The long high pony + basic eyeliner look + super high boots gave me nightmares. I'm so glad we're past that phase and she has a great style now, that was probably her worst year of her career in terms of looks tbh. Yours Truly era was super cute and elegant, My Everything was a bit basic but still great, Dangerous Woman was kind of messy but still better than TUN. I also loved her  2017/2018 winter style from when she was hiding, which was very close to her current one. Mimi deserves all the praise, I don't know what was wrong with Law considering he's amazing with Zendaya, maybe it was Ariana herself picking them and she decided it was time for a change. 

 

 

 

Imagine if Ariana is featured on Beyonce's upcoming album? wishful thinking but a collab between these two would make so much sense.  Ariana's pop/r&b sound and female empowerment anthems is reminiscent and inspired from what Destiny's Child/Beyoncé did in the late 90's/00's. If her new album is pop like they say...makes too much sense to actually happen though. 

motive really should've been a single over pov. Like, it still wouldn't have gotten a music video or any promo, but it would've definitely done better on radio during the summer and a simple lyric video would've been enough to get it to top 20
