I loved her since YT, and I still cannot believe how this have catapulted her to stardom. The numbers she did were amazing as well, then she went on to release singles that did well leading to that compilation album.

I've been revisiting YT era performances, and she always had that grit in her voice. I've never really noticed that. Even in Break Free, she had rasp on some of her belts.

Erm... yes? It's a huge project for her and the musical has a legitimately huge fan base waiting for it as well so it could very well be her "crossover" (whatever that means in the context of her career) moment
